I think its insane that Kevin even made an offer. Its a product of couple of buttons, bluetooth chip and a battery in a rubber casing that Chinese can make for $4-5 and sell it for $15-20 and these guys are asking for $80.
It’s probably cause its made in the US. Wages and material there are way higher making it way too expensive. Not to mention they dont have a patent so it will be knocked off.
@@Truthorfib Of course, thats why i said people in China can make them for 5X less and i bet you they only assemble it in USA and order every part from China.
I thought he said 17 dollars instead of 70 dollars. For 17 or 19,99 you can try something like this. There are so many competitors that are in that price range that even at that price it's a big gamble of you get your money back. At 79 dollars you must have to much money if you buy this instead of the 20 dollar competition.
Honestly, I feel like if I was biking or snowboarding or doing anything active, I’d way rather have this. How many times do you want to say hey siri….yes…next song. Physical buttons are super easy
The functionality could be achieved at that price point, but the company couldn't survive at those margins and they would need to make it so cheap it wouldn't even be water resistant.
@@ahmedalshabrawy202 ..."Half that price" meaning your budget is now 35$ instead of the 5$ or below that I responded to. The sellers are CLEARLY trying to appeal to a high end clientele and would sell more if they lowered their margins.

This would be awesome if it was for the shower. I can't tell you how many times I have had people interupt me while showering or terrible things come up on shuffle. However, it would need to be max $30 and waterproof
Voice automation like Alexa is not a direct competitor to this. You can't rely on that in rough places in tbe middle of a noisy mountain, doing heavy industry or fishing in a storm. They have very different use cases
Making a deal with Kevin would be a nightmare, man is basically willing to kill your company at any moment just to slightly increase his personal cash flow
With my AirPods all I have to do is say “hey siri” and give her directions. Or tap the side of them to skip songs or pause them. Idk why you’d want to wear that giant piece of plastic to do the same thing
Kevin be dishing it out too lol. Plus this is a TV show. They're gonna have some 'schticks' for entertainment purposes. Kevin know what he signed up for
It's was made for snow sports and surfing. People who know where they are boarding. It's not marketed towards people going side seeing and enjoying the environment. The other sport people came second
This product makes no sense when you can use wireless bluetooth headphones and use voice control. I agree with what Robert said in regards to airpods and how they are getting better.
Admittedly I haven't used it in a while, but have you ever tried to usee it while sailing a boat or in a super windy/noisy environment?? It sucks hahah
omg im all the way in South africa in my room and I gave this product all the start up capital it needs.😂😂 i was so impressed, this would make my life easier.
It won’t scale, with technology advancing everyday etc, for example AirPods you can control the volume, stop, increase the volume with Siri, in other words it will be crushed, even the consumer doesn’t have enough money to afford expensive AirPods from Apple there other varieties of headphones/AirPods that function the same; if it came out in 2010 yes it would be “ revolutionary” but we’re currently living in 2023
There are many people, like myself, who don't use Siri or any other ai assistants. Especially boomers who don't know about them or don't know how to use them. It is definitely not a useless item.
I fall into the category of wanting constant content in my ears. It's sad. If you are skiing or riding, learn to take all of that in and enjoy the experience instead of bringing media in to distract you from it.
Yea you can but Siri barely works for me and it’s too complicated to speak to Alexa just to change volume or songs. Buttons for simple tasks are just better. This product will last in my opinion
Earbuds/headphones got a function that do those things by tapping the unit? Those buttons are trash at any place where you do not need to wear big gloves, there is already multimedia gadgets available. Also, do not make garbage playlists and there will be no need to swap songs.
Too expensive. Besides… in a few (3?) years technology will make this obsolete. He had to ask for a huge royalty because he’d never get a return on his investment. Maybe it it were… under $30 bucks ($20).
Omg thank GOD!!! New shark tank content!!! I haven’t been able to eat for dayssssss
I've been watching it for 10 years with dinner n lunch lol its perfect

Yeah but it's grown and become successful now so you're kind of coping.
I was almost going to buy one, until I heard the price of one. Way too much
Yea 79 is wild!!!!
I thought the same thing. I was literally about to Google them but I'm not spending $79

cant see how anyone would ask for 80 bucks on an item that is essentially 4 big buttons. those exist for free on majority of headphones already

Siri doesn’t always work
Seeing Barbara dance lolll
Did anyone else notice how they played Barbara’s “Hey Mike” twice at 0:35 😂
They didn't play it twice. Barbara said it twice

Lots of similar products on Amazon for $20.
If my wireless headphones are connected via Bluetooth how can I connect these at the same time?

The interests of an investor seeking a (hefty) royalty are most certainly not aligned with those of the company.

They need to change the brand word. They could use the Roly-poly button, abdominous button, ample button, and bulky button. Anything. Not chubby.
