Loved your srt to edl vid! The next level would be to transcribe hours of raw interview footage for a documentary project, then feed the transcripts to gpt in srt format with timecode and ask it to thematically sort everything and keep the timecode in. Then transcode to edl and we'd need a plugin that takes the resorted time markers and reshuffles the timeline based on that. Bam, the assistant editor just lost his job :D Sounds pretty doable, right?
Mate! I have been trying to do this for literally weeks! Tried many different prompts but can never get ChatGPT to retain the timecodes. Have you had any luck with this?

Why dont you use audio transcribe feature directly on davinci

Ah! I've updated to big sur and MacGPT doesn't seem to be ready for Big Sur yet.
It is working for me at the moment with Ventura.
