That's really cool, I never knew about Spyro's Kingdom. I think either theory stands, because the series is called the "Legend" of Spyro, and many real life stories of legends refer to someone who has died for a cause or is only remembered by older generations passed down through time. On the other hand, the Chronicler clearly stated that he could not find Spyro or Cynder in that book, so they must have been alive in some way or another. Whether that is in their current dragon forms or something else entirely, I don't know. I will say it's interesting the ending scene cut to constellations that look like the both of them. I have another theory that maybe after Spyro used his power to fix the world, he encased himself and Cynder in crystal a second time, but this time in the middle of the earth.

You can also see that structure in space because in culture, you die and leave a star but given how Spyro used Aether and follows the path of the Being of Light (confirmed entity by Jared), he gets a more "bigger" gift for his sacrifice.

Since I ended the Legend of Spyro trilogy, I always think about what happened to Spyro and Cynder. And still do. It is one of the few things that doesn't let me sleep many times and makes me overthink about them and their future, but helped me to find the comfort and excitement in fanfics. I believe they survived, because if the Chronicler couldn't find them in the book of dead dragons and we can see them fly in the sky freely, it could mean they finally can live in peace and together free of war and darkness. About how they escaped from the core still makes me wonder how that worked. Possibly, because Spyro is a purple dragon, and his powers are much more complex that the usual, he maybe managed to harness his power to send him and Cynder outside while restoring the earth, and maybe it has something to do with his dark side still present on him. (?) Although the other theories also sound good, as maybe they are flying in their afterlife or them flying symbolizes their souls free from the deeds they accomplished. about theories, i have my own theory about spyro story. I think that all spyro games(without count mobile versions because never see them) it's the one long story in different time. I think legends of spyro it's the beginning of the story, as we could see at the end the planet crack and after spyro stop we still see flying lands, this made me think that skylanders is the continue of the story after long time, we have the idea of lands in sky that is typical for spyro games, they could be small islands in sky or very big that detail connect all 3 series of spyro's games to one(legends, skylanders, original trilogy(spyro reignited). I'm not sure which is going to be next after legends is it skylanders or original trilogy but i strong belive they all connected and each spyro is just another reincarnation of spyro as we can know from legends(begin of a new beginning) each 10 generations is born one purple dragon.... maybe it's also count cynder. At skylanders serial in 3 season we end that spyro go search his family of dragons that stuck somewhere in the world, but now we never know where and what will happen, only thing we know is they are the same type of dragon as spyro by type of tail end. In the original series we also have dragons lands and need to free dragons in first game, then we teleporting very far away to lands that don't have dragons in ripto rage and finally find out that there is dragoness wizard very far away and we need to save all eggs. the interest detail All worlds that we visited they are skyland types, and as i said there could be sometimes big lands with water worlds like very big aquarium. +if the planet earth type so we have a lot of ocean water so after earth crack it should somewhere to be, right? it's can't disappear nowhere. I guess Spyro's Kingdom was the closest we ever got to a sequel. I didn't like him becoming a king tho tbh. Doing what if stories if stories is an interesting idea tho dude! There's a ton you can do with it! Maybe do another video going into more detail and trying to explain other plot points from the games? DotD could use a lot of explanations XD

Since in the Return of the Dragon King comic, it's said by Malefor (Who's the villian in that comic) that he and Spyro have battled before. (Possibly a nod to their battle in DotD) How Spyro ended up in Skylands is anyone's guess, but it's a fun thing to think about!

Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been lying awake a few recent nights because I couldn’t stop thinking about this question. The chronicler himself said that he couldn’t find a trace of Spyro in his book of dead dragons, so he and Cynder must have survived. But the theory that Spyro could have been reborn into a later life is also plausible. But also, before Spyro brought the world back together, the voice of Ignitus told him that dragon’s spirits live on and bind themselves with nature. So wouldn’t those dragons who bind themselves with nature go into the book anyway, since both things are apparently what happen to all dead dragons? Or did Spyro not go into the book because being the rare purple dragon, his type of spirit is the only one capable of reincarnating itself into another purple dragon body? And most importantly of all, how the hell did they get out of the centre of the world once it was back together if they weren’t reincarnated? I have no clue, it’s all very confusing. I personally don’t consider Spyro becoming a king canon to the universe timeline post DOTD, but I’d absolutely like to believe that both he and Cynder survived and went on to live a quiet, peaceful and happy life together. I’d appreciate it if you made a sequel video to this clearing up all my confusion, and telling us how you think it most likely went down, then I’ll hopefully be able to understand the ending more clearly. Yeah, I’ll probably be making a follow up video soonish on those questions, though most of it will just be my own opinion I think. How it went down following DotD is always interesting to create stories about, but actually getting a factual idea of what happened is well… difficult

@@trainlover16 I think it has to do with Spyro using Aether and apparently the Being of Light had to have given him something more protective or whatever to keep him & Cynder safe in the spiritual plane, what we do know is that yes he died as in culture when you die, you leave a star in space but again because of that Element and the divine being, he gets a full on structure in the sky. Unfortunately we don't know much about of the universe except with help of Jared.

Idea-In the Reignited world, there is a terror of the skies that is a dark reflection of what Cynder could become. Similar how Carnage is a dark reflection of Venom.

I Assumed That Spyro & Cynder were still alɪve based on what the Chronicler said to Ignitus: Maybe Spyro{+ Possibly Cynder} are located somewhere inbetween both the 'Spirit World/Afterlɪfe' & The 'Living World' - Which could explain why the Chronicler couldn't find them. You didn't mention the Chronicler couldn't find Spyro in the book of Dead Dragons, this proves at least he lives after saving the world and because we see Cynder and Spyro flying in the sky, its safe to presume they live. The speculation begins there though, I want in my heart for Spyro and Cynder to continue, have the relationship that was confirmed by the devs, to see children Like, what would Spyro's and Cynder's child look like? We see a lot of fan art but it would of been nice to see.

What if Spyro's Kingdom took place a Millennium after Dawn of the Dragon? The Spyro we see in the game is actually a new Purple Dragon named after Spyro, with the original Spyro and Cynder having become legends.
Lore of the dragon in my opinion I would say they didn't survive after the end but just showed Spyro and Cynder in the spirit realm which pretty much explains why Ignitus couldn't find them because both Spyro and Cynder are considered well...dead however I do believe there spirits still remained in the center of the world to keep Malefor sealed away for all time. Eventually that time will become legend and of course to the point of just becoming a myth meaning the legend of the purple dragon of Spyro and Malefor were completely forgotten that is until Reignited happened. I would say that in time Spyro became reincarnated through that timeline but doesn't know a thing about mastering all elements nore does he know the legend of the past. As for Cynder I would say she too was reincarnated but her personality is now different seeing that she now lives an easy life just like Spyro but lives in another realm. Of course if Malefor was to come back he would most likely be a fossil discovered by a new villain rather it be Gnasy Nork, Ripto or Red and when that happens they would most likely try to resurrect him which will give him a new body of that of an elder dragon but dangerous should Spyro 4 happen.
That's actually pretty interesting. Considering in reignited appear floating islands in dream weavers (probably caused by Dawn of the dragon ending), it would also be proof why Ripto hates dragons (because of Malefor or war), and dragons in reignited seem more advanced than in Legend of Spyro (long time would pass by)

Like most people, I believe they survived, but everyone is open to their own interpretation :) As for the idea of Spyro being king is... interesting? I mean, I never really imagined Spyro being a king but he and Cynder would obviously be looked on in high regard for saving the world and whatnot. Though, I do wonder how hierarchy works within the Legends universe.

Spyro by biology and physics wouldn’t at all been able to pull Cynder free. He would be eaten and destroyed. It’s ridiculous plot armor and a huge plot hole. Showing the game was rushed. If they had time maybe when if you hit the button correctly hunter shoots the golem in the eye that would be the only way and reasonable way it’d let go of her. Probably not as the game was never completed and became Skylanders instead. So for now it remains a possibility. That being said I think Cynder would be Spyro's queen and head enforcer who likes to work in the background. If she did get killed then it would be through a combination of a well executed plan and a lot of luck.

Dragon Time wasn't used, he used Aether and Aether clearly just helped Spyro & Cynder to continue as spirits, they're spirits.

You didn't mention the Chronicler couldn't find Spyro in the book of Dead Dragons, this proves at least he lives after saving the world and because we see Cynder and Spyro flying in the sky, its safe to presume they live.
The speculation begins there though, I want in my heart for Spyro and Cynder to continue, have the relationship that was confirmed by the devs, to see children

What if Spyro's Kingdom took place a Millennium after Dawn of the Dragon? The Spyro we see in the game is actually a new Purple Dragon named after Spyro, with the original Spyro and Cynder having become legends.
Lore of the dragon in my opinion I would say they didn't survive after the end but just showed Spyro and Cynder in the spirit realm which pretty much explains why Ignitus couldn't find them because both Spyro and Cynder are considered well...dead however I do believe there spirits still remained in the center of the world to keep Malefor sealed away for all time. Eventually that time will become legend and of course to the point of just becoming a myth meaning the legend of the purple dragon of Spyro and Malefor were completely forgotten that is until Reignited happened. I would say that in time Spyro became reincarnated through that timeline but doesn't know a thing about mastering all elements nore does he know the legend of the past. As for Cynder I would say she too was reincarnated but her personality is now different seeing that she now lives an easy life just like Spyro but lives in another realm. Of course if Malefor was to come back he would most likely be a fossil discovered by a new villain rather it be Gnasy Nork, Ripto or Red and when that happens they would most likely try to resurrect him which will give him a new body of that of an elder dragon but dangerous should Spyro 4 happen.
That's actually pretty interesting. Considering in reignited appear floating islands in dream weavers (probably caused by Dawn of the dragon ending), it would also be proof why Ripto hates dragons (because of Malefor or war), and dragons in reignited seem more advanced than in Legend of Spyro (long time would pass by)

As for the idea of Spyro being king is... interesting? I mean, I never really imagined Spyro being a king but he and Cynder would obviously be looked on in high regard for saving the world and whatnot. Though, I do wonder how hierarchy works within the Legends universe.
I say they lived. I did think for a while Ignitus lived because we see him at the aftermath of the game. I come to accept he has passed. Rip.

Spyro by biology and physics wouldn’t at all been able to pull Cynder free. He would be eaten and destroyed. It’s ridiculous plot armor and a huge plot hole. Showing the game was rushed. If they had time maybe when if you hit the button correctly hunter shoots the golem in the eye that would be the only way and reasonable way it’d let go of her. Other than that it’s not gonna let go of cynder by pure physics and mass. I'm arguing by pure biology and science. Spyro had no real chance in that situation without plot armor. Also MALEFOR would win and cynder probably gets eaten ALSO XD. They wouldn't have escaped the catacombs Realistically the bad guy would have won. Also after Spyro and cynder gets ate. The golem eats the guardians and a whole bunch of dragon civilians... Probably not as the game was never completed and became Skylanders instead. So for now it remains a possibility. That being said I think Cynder would be Spyro's queen and head enforcer who likes to work in the background. If she did get killed then it would be through a combination of a well executed plan and a lot of luck.
