    I have been using the wired version for a year and they are amazing. The best clamp for my head that I’ve experienced with a headset. Super comfortable. Sounds amazing. I use the Logitech G Hub, and I find using presets made by people in the community are the best for getting even better sound out.

    Had these for about 2yrs now and wanted to upgrade for no reason (I like new tech lol). But, got the Arctis nova pros and the Astro A30s - returned them both. None matched the fullness of the sound the Gpros produce. Was really surprised because everyone hyped up the nova pros but, the Gpros just sound really really good imo. Not to mention they are extremely well built.
    The only thing that has maybe broken down a bit is the ear pads but, there are tons of aftermarket pads for these.

    I just got these more or less on a whim. I had Corsairs Virtuosos for a few years, I liked those. A bit heavy and sometimes uncomfortable but thats besides the point.
    My immediate issue with the Pro X Wireless was changing the pads to the soft fabric ones (comfy as hell). Currently I'm struggling to find the volume wheel and power button easily. I have noticed different/new sounds in games and some videos I've watched though.

    So I was curious if anyone else has had the same experience as me. I have had the G PRO X wireless for about 18 months as of this post. I had an issue with the plastic clips between the leather/leather clone material and the adjustable sliders that it holds together. Both of them eventually just broke and the actual headphones would slide out dangling by the coiled wire. The left side clip broke within 3 months, the second was soon to follow. I wish they were made more sturdy or with different material because it is the only bad criticism I have to mention, but it was quite aggravating. Also black electrical tape was the best solution I could find for holding the clips together, while also not looking ghetto rigged if done smoothly lol. Certain Glue may be an option but I personally didn't know if it would hold together with such small contact points.

    • @dangelo1289
      @dangelo1289 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      ok at least your one other person thats had the issue(Have not done a ton of digging) but yeah mine did it just from average use like moving one earphone off to talk to someone near you or moving it around the neck. Its definitely the clips, because the second one almost immediately at least started to come apart after the first broke. Also I will have to try the glue, have you had issues with it? Lastly I did not realize the warranty was that long, did you have to sign up for it or did you keep the reciept for logitech support? The only reason I did not look into this is because I figured they would have to take y headphones and I do not have a good spare.

      I sometimes have this problem, but not consistently. I'm actually not certain if it's the headphones or if it's just my hearing. I'm a male in my 30s, so while my hearing isn't bad, it's not going to be as sharp as someone in their teens or 20s. I'd say that 80% of the time it's silent and 20% of the time I hear the static white noise. I'm pretty sure it's the headphones that are inconsistent, because when I do hear the static, it's very noticeable. It's never a scenario of "I think I hear it a little". It's always that I hear it or I don't. Since I don't hear the static most of the time, I chose to keep the headphones, but I'm sympathetic to those who might experience the problem more frequently.

      I've been debating for a while whether I should get these or not and I'm with you in that the Blue voice should sound radically different with higher bass and a tad bit more reverb in the mic. When he tested it though, it sounded as if literally nothing had changed at all XD.

      @mcsavage1587 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ad3mn I got them 3 weeks ago, the best headset I ever had and the richest sound I have ever experienced, I'm not going to lie, it does take quite a bit of getting used to the tweaks and everything you can customize to reach the best settings for your personal choice, the ones that you like the most so do expect taking an hour or two to get used to what every setting does, what's what and all that. The Bluevoice does sound 999% different when turned on compared to off, unlike the ones in this video which probably had some factory issues, they were faulty from the start, so the Bluevoice on/off offers major differences, as well as settings and everything else. The surround sound is what I do not use and not because it isn't good or anything, but because the stereo is already phenomenal, you don't really need surround when you have such a good directional stereo quality. So 11/10 from me for this headset, definitely would recommend.

    I had used them before, and loved the better earcuffs. But the software and the lack of 1st party parts is holding it back and the price is just too high for the quality and features is just simply not enough..I had ended up switching to Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless. Because it has the same price with MUCH BETTER features and software than Logitech could provide. I did get the Logitech G Pro X Wireless for $150 then switched to Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless for the SAME PRICE.
    If they had made it only $100 then people would get it over other $100 wireless gaming headsets.
    The most noticeable part for the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless is it's 7.1 surround sound natively as games that support 7.1 surround sound would immediately recognize it. They could've improved the microphone and giving the option to upgrade it for those who had the headset before. But, the Logitech G Pro X Wireless actually can't compete against Corsair (or other brands as you have said). Which it has disappointed me greatly....

    Yours may differ, my personal take:
    Pros: Quick and solid connection once turned on, sound is decent and loud, feels sturdy, USB-C.
    Cons: Not for my big ears - even with bigger custom Brainwavz cushions, no swivel earcups, clamping force causes headache after an hour or 2, no Bluetooth.
    Ambigious: Ghub: did not install it. Less intrusive software = less BS
    Verdict: Buy it when it is discounted.
    Avoid Steelseries though. Their customer support is the worst I've ever experienced before.

    • @mcsavage1587
      @mcsavage1587 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You really do need Ghub to experience the headset (and pretty much any logitech periferal) to the fullest, trust me and give it a shot, I promise 99% you will not regret, also logitech support is the best, that's the main reason for which I'm now loyal to the brand. My G Pro Wireless mouse experienced a few errors and couldn't get them solved, after an hour of chatting with support on their official page, they sent me a brand new unit. It's definitely nice to know a brand cares about its customers in such a way. Best of luck!

    I was first looking at this headset but I just can't stand the microphone quality... Based on both the preview on the video and the fact that a friend of mine has it, I dare to say even the 30€ Creative Fatal1ty microphone seems clearer.
    I don't know what it is, but it does not sound "normal" like on a phonecall or in real person. There's some sort of fuzzy sound to it... Like it's lacking natural warmth and bass and sounds like it's hissing.
