Hi there, very nice video and great audio. One on the GT3 would be appreciated as well, but I’d say wait for them to be all released. Next DLC is in March, I assume.
Really loved this video. Very insightful and i feel i will be better at simracing because of it. Have you ever considered doing 'how to learn simracing' videos? I'm certain you are perfect for it 👏🏻
YoastZilla! Love you always getting involved mate! I really appreciate the comment, however I feel I'm not quite at a level to teach others, I may give duff information or pass on bad habits which would not be good 😊😊
Not a beginner but I watched the whole video to see if your observations are similar to mine - turns out they are almost exactly what I felt as well. For example the Lambo being edgy and bouncy over curbs but a more exciting experience than say the Peugeot. Also, I really enjoy the way to structured the video with each car segment being your fastest laptime long. Another question: I'm not a native english speaker but I really enjoy learning about accents. I could hear that you're probably from the northern parts of England, but I'd love to know which part more specifically, if that's not too much to ask. Your pronounciation of "fair" for example sounded more like I pronounce "fur" and the last person I heard talk like that was from Bolton.
Nico! Glad your observations were very similar, that makes me hope that others will feel the same and it's not like I'm talking complete rubbish lol ☺ Yes my pronunciation for a lot of things is very odd, i am not a million miles away from Bolton, I'm in the middle of Liverpool and Manchester, but my accent sounds nothing like either of them 😀 You do very well to understand me mate, impressive!
Some interesting observations! I'll def give the Porsche another try for sure after this! The Peugeot 9X8 has a wingless version too. I actually find the one you drove to be quite edgy. The wingless one drives like a whole other car! It engages the front axle motor at a lower speed than the edgier one does. 150 kph vs 190 kph. I think it would suit Imola quite well with lots of third gear corner exits.
Such a shame, I was hoping to watch you try and wrestle the Glickenhaus! Great video though, I'm a little intimidated by these cars so it's nice to see which ones I should start with...I'm torn between the Toyota and Peugeot.
@@SamStrife I'd say go Peugeot! I'm told there's a wingless variant that's better than the one I tried. I had no idea 😀😀👍 Thanks for getting involved mate!
Good Work Fella! 👍 As you know, barely 3 months into Sim Racing. Still working my way through Bronze LMGT/GTE in LMU. Loving it! The feedback through the wheel is amazing. Would be interested if that's replicated with active pedals? Anyone? I've only quickly tried Hyper on LMU and I went straight to Porsche... BECAUSE I'M A PORSCHE NUT!!! Congrats to Nasr for Daytona! 💪 When I'm ready, I'm going straight to the Porsche. Anyone fancy a different car?
Do you pronounce it like I do or do you pronounce it right lol ☺ The Rolex 24 was my first, really enjoyed it! Glad you are enjoying LMU though, the more the merrier!
Hey Rev, as a relative newcomer to LMU, I find myself having the most trouble with braking . It's incredibly easy to spin in the middle of low speed corners, I think I there's just little feedback as to when the rear is starting to step out and there's only visual confirmation that your car is going around as opposed to the tires and feedback feeling different immediately after you've lost control. I'm sure I just need more practice, but after a couple hours, I'm still struggling to get a feel for cars in this sim mid corner. Any advice?
I found when I first started I was over-braking by a massive amount. I was obsessed with hitting the braking point and getting that apex spot on. The truth is - Is what you can get away with. Racing cars are built for you to screw the balls off em. Keep that in mind.
I wish I had matey! Is the spinning happening when you get on the throttle, I feel this game more than most wants me to balance the car through the mid corner, so a little throttle input, like 15 percent. Then as the car straightens up I can nail it, but yeah, definitely needs balance in the mid corner. Do let me know how you get on mate, sorry I can't offer much ☺
Good video Rev, yea why not do gt3. I will have to start playing this game, I have had it from the beginning but first time I drove it out of the pits my simucube dd got out of control and nearly broke my hand! so needless to say I haven’t touched it since! but your videos are getting me edgy.
I had a similar incident on my first try in the game. Came out of the pits, my wheel wanted very violently to move away from the center which caused me to crash into a wall. Luckily I just hurt my wrist very slightly, so nothing major. Turned out I had to tick the "invert force feedback" setting in the menus. Also made sure to tone down the collision feedback strength quite a bit 😄
Can anyone helo me out with the stats/scores at the end of the race. Particularly when it says 'We expected you to finish xx' Is that purely from previous races or does it take data from practice sessions?
It's your elo, so basically data from previous races. All the drivers in your lobby might be B3 for instance, but some of the them might be on the verge of leveling up to B2 and some of them might be on the lower end of B3. Game puts those driver ratings in order and expects you to finish in a position that reflects that.
@@ReverendSimRacing Ah alright. I am just fed up with your average f1game idiot crashing into you on purpose because they can't handle being overtaken. If you say it has a good system, I will buy the game as Multiclass racing is phenomenal (if the drivers have a brain)
