Ok so that reverse drill method was awesome! Wish i knew about it earlier but still right on time! This kratky method is a great way to get some amazing and abundant food in a small space. Just imagine if you could trun that pool back there into a kratky method...sheesh! Love ahat you're doing as usual ! -N
Yes, wouldn't that be awesome!!! I'm definitely excited about this Kratky hydroponic growing method and can't wait to see the results of my labor this summer and fall.
Excellent question. It depends on the size of your container and the number of plants you have growing in your container. With this specific project, I did not have to add or change the water because the container was not a clear container. I had no algae buildup in this container so I didn’t have to change the water. Thanks for watching my video. I’m in the process of posting more videos on my experiences and experiments with the Kratky hydroponics method and growing food during the fall and winter months of the year.
Thank you Daniel for watching my video and leaving a comment.👍. I am very new to hydroponics gardening and more specifically, the Kratky method. I appreciate you asking me about the EC level from my water source. This is something I didn’t do because I didn’t know about EC until I read your comment and reached to learn about what that is, so it looks like I need to invest in an EC meter. Do you have any experience or recommendations for me??? Thanks!
So well explained ! thank you so much :)
This is so interesting Matt!
I think so too Deb!

How often do you have to change the water?

Thanks for sharing Matt! Were you able to measure the EC level from your water source?

Do you adjust the nutrient mix as the plants begin fruiting? Higher concentrations?
Could you maybe post a list as to what nutes you use for what plants? Really appreciate your 'very descriptive' videos.
Why did you use the Tomato/Veg formula instead of the Masterblend Strawberry formula? Thanks!
Great question. I actually did not know there was a Masterblend Strawberry formula. Thanks for sharing this with me.
4 x 1/4 tsp is 1 tsp (Epsom), right? ;)
Correct.
