Dude... of all the "reactions" I've seen to date, you have been the most accurate. I really appreciate how you've articulated all aspects of the video. You are very observant. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Thank you for your reaction ❤ we love Stan. He had a concert in Hawaii last night. I love his LIVE performances. This song written for the Ava Duvernay movie Origin. I saw the movie a couple weeks ago and loved it. I hope he wins and Oscar for this song ❤
It was my pleasure. Also, now that you've mentioned it, the song should have won an Oscar earlier this year. Maybe he'll win next year if that's possible.
@@CompositionCritiques the song only was released in December and movie release was a couple.mobths ago so I'm hoping for next year's Oscars if that's possible?
The language Stan is speaking is Te Reo, which is the mother tongue of the Maori people from Aotearoa (Land Of The Long White Cloud) aka New Zealand, though Stan is a very strong and confident singer he is humble at heart, though his videos are awesome, his live performance is just as good, thank you for your reaction, maybe you should listen to Stans cover of Kanye West song Ultralight beam.
Thank-you for your insightful reaction. You are the only reactor that I’ve seen who recognized the change in the actress’s face at the end from one of great sadness to one of hope. This mirrors the strength and pride of the Māoris in the final shot. Mahalo from Hawai’i.
Superb reaction Zak ! Do we have another reactor down the Stan Walker rabbit hole ? There is a huge back-story surrounding this remarkable artist, from tragedy to triumph, and on to this work for the film ' Origin '. You know from the comments, some of his song titles, for me the standouts are ' Ultralight Beam ' and ' Don't Dream It' s Over ' by another very famous Kiwi, Neil Finn and' Crowded House ' While ' I Am ' is spectacular, ( Have a look at videos of the production of it, and the story of Stan' s relationship with the Writer / Director ), the great disappointment is that it was completely lost at the very end of the film, and not given the promenence it so richly deserved. It is, nevertheless, an amazing film !!
Thanks for your cool reaction! 😃 If you want to explore more of Stan, I recommend his most recent song 'Maori ki te Ao', which is a kind of companion song to 'I Am'. And as someone else mentioned, his cover of Kanye West's 'Ultralight Beam' - it's a classic. 😍Blessings to you.
❤❤New Zealand should be so proud of Stan the man, brilliant, awsome🎉🎉
