Great tip on remaining a mech master until everything is done on the skill tree then switch to combat elite after, skill tree can be finished faster as a mech master due to it's skills in procuring items or resources that'll be used for the skill tree. Belated merry Christmas & a happy new year.

That's what I'm planning on doing. You get the increased gathering speed from the tree plus you're able to make mechanical master facilities which not only give you an increased gathering speed. But will also generate resources for you whether you're gathering in them or not.

I personally think that it's okay that the class changes are getting held back for the people winning in the svs's because the goal is that it won't affect the event which I think is okay. It also gives me more time to think about whether I want to switch or not and for stuff to be tested before it does happen on my server.
I completely agree that's why they did it I still think it's stupid and they took too long to put the class update out. I believe my video that was covering the update that officially announced the class update was back in April of last year they pushed this back time and time again and now they release it at a bad time in the weirdest way. And only half done

Thanks WB, great video! Quick question. I have 3 navy hero’s with lvl 6 damage increase. Should I combine and have 1 hero with lvl 7? FYI I’m about a hundred name plates away from 3HM.
I would not combine them. Having three of them separate while of course it does take more hero skill slots you get more damage increase than with one level 7. Now if you have a level 5 6 and 7 that is equivalent to having 3 6's. So once you reach the point of being able to do that you can go ahead and merge and then just focus on making another six
Are you close to getting three hero with the old class system or the new classes. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but while I haven't done the math myself I hear three hero takes a little longer to obtain with the new class system

I've got a question. So, if I still got a lot of profession items stored in blue crates (where I get to choose gear or nameplate) I'm safe right?
You should be yes. I've almost always kept my class items in the blue boxes just in case ever since they announced the class update.
I went from 6 months out to 3 hero to a couple of weeks. Now I've gotta get a third hero up to 5* otherwise Rambo is coming out of retirement 🤣

Don’t forget about the event they release every now and again where you can switch gears for plates and vise versa. :) We got ours during EL randomly about a month ago.
They put out a mail that they would not be doing that again after the last one. Now they screwed up on this event so badly they might be forced to do it once more. But that is not a regular event and you shouldn't count on it

You'll just have to keep an eye out for events that have it. They cycle through most of the basic decor
Hey I have a question. If you still have class research updates running and you know it will not be finished before the class update, updates your server. What will happen to those researches still running? Ive heard you just lose what you spent on them and are out of luck.
One research is 9days to complete the other is 19days... I doubt our server will win next Svs matchup so the class update happens before they are finished
I've heard you lose it but I have no evidence one way or the other unfortunately. All I can say is speed it up if you can or pray 🙏 😅

Yes. I was on day 13 of a development when the switch happened. I lost 23 Million oil and 23 Million food. It really sucked.

Hello! I am currently a VIP 2 nearing to be VIP 3. I just opened the CE and MM perk and still not decided on which to choose. Is there a big difference between CE and MM today? Is CE worth it even I am not a big spender?
CE is definitely stronger however since you are a low spender and likely not one of the biggest hitters on your server I would recommend going MM. It will help you develop your account quicker and you can still support your team with towers. I've even gone MM until I finished my suppressions

You will still have it. The classes basically mirror themselves. When you switch classes the research will already be done

I am having one query i accidentally researched general perks instead upgrading mechanical tree and wasted lot of oil and food there... Now on discord mods are asking for UID and they will reset that.... do you have any idea about this ??
When you click on your profile picture you'll see a barcode just underneath it with some numbers under it that is your UID
I don't know because didn't do that mistake, I habe a lot speed up and food and oil left from spending from traps, I am lacking gear to advance tree with a lot rss left
Little more description : I researched trainee officer and select mechanical master it didn't allowed me to start mechanical tree and asked to complete previous perks... So i thought i have to research supression in the genral perk as well to start mech tree and lost resources there...

Unfortunately I wouldn't know the cause for that without being able to mess with the update myself. But I think my server has a good shot of going all the way for the SVS tournament so it's going to be a hot minute before I get it
One point that I would clarify is that after you build up the tree and use the class change it does not refund or change everything to the opposite class items it just switches your specialization and you are now that far down in the opposite class
It does away with the need for the exchange event because both classes now cost the same so your progress from one tree will just automatically change the progress on the other one with the class change item
Are you saying that when you use the class switch item the stuff is already researched and you don't have to manually research it all yourself again?

Hi, I have a question about base skins. For example, the ZH-2 Conqueror gives the following:
All unit ATK bonus 10%
All unit HP bonus 10%
Navy ATK Bonus 25%
My main is navy. So when using navy heroes does that mean my ATK Bonus will be a cumulative 35%, or do I only get the 25% bonus?
You are correct It is a 35% cumulative bonus. But of course only when the skin is equipped. Otherwise you only get the holding in stock bonuses

I managed to get 1,000 boot camp cards from the piedmont training camp. I’m thinking of getting the ZH-2 conqueror base skin. I’m mainly navy. My airforce and army are non existent. Is it the best base skin for a player like me? I know that the super miner is a must, but for now I want something that will enhance my ATK and defence. Is there a base skin better than the zh-2 conqueror for navy? I like the shadow dragon too, and whilst it does give an all unit ATK bonus of 35% however the hp bonus is just for army. Whereas the zh2 gives 35% ATK (cumulative) plus 10% hp bonus for navy. What are you thoughts and is there another base skin that I should consider?
I know it won't really help your attack but the forerunner is another great base to consider because of the 30% DMG decrease in defence and the repair facility capacity increase.
But I would recommend shadow dragon over conqueror. Same attack increase but all unit great for base defense. Even though you don't have army or air they are still units they have to chew through to burn your base. The vit limit increase isn't huge unless your vit recovery is crazy. And shadow dragons ability is huge for PvE to up your damage on individual/alliance defence, sandtable, wb, ect

Any chance you make a short video about not having room in hive now that most people have a big skin? 😂 This "free" skin event made our hive super congested and I think the devs didn't take this into account when making new event
They took into account because of your alliance tech there's a tech called territorial expansion which resolves that issue unfortunately if 170 members were donating 20 times a day it's going to take about 6 months to finish 😅🥲

The extra March too is given in the trainee officer class which both specializations have. So you won't lose it by switching

You said you could start in MM and switch to CE after you have maxed out - how easy is it to switch to Combat Elite later?
I've been told it's 10,000 gems. I haven't personally seen it since we don't have the update yet but that cost is in line with what the current cost is. You should be able to go to the item store and purchase it for gems it'll be at the bottom of the list. If you're still operating on the old class system there will be two different class select items one for 5,000 for 10,000. But the new system should get rid of one of those

Mech master will help you grow fastest by giving you more resources at the cost of being a bit weaker without combat elite stats. But you can support your alliance with towers

See Id like to do the strat you suggested. Go Mech until it’s no longer needed. Problem is, I was a CE. So to go mech and then switch back, it will cost a lot of dollars. *Ahem* Sorry, Gems. So looks like I’m stuck on CE.
If this helps your decision at all I don't know if you've already used it or if you've gotten the class update yet. Top War is going to give you a free class change item. So you could use that to go MechMaster and then after how many ever months it takes you to finish off what you'd like to finish off then it's 10,000 gems. Still a lot but at least you're only paying it once
So, i switched LC TO TM spend gems so i have both gears 400+ and nameplate 800+ .i think i should go with mechanical Master and gather as much as i can oil and food and also i can collect gears and nameplate both from Store I'll try to upgrade my MM tree to 3heros or maybe little further then change to combat elite this way i think beneficial for me snd use gears what you say? I think that would be a good idea otherwise those mechanical gears in your inventory are just going to be wasting space. The extra gathering speed will help you keep up with the resource cost of using all those gears. And before switching to combat elite I would recommend stockpiling a good amount of resources so you can go through all those elite name place

The phantom is kind of a so-so skin because it only works on attack plus the decor you get out of it from its active buff is very weak and takes a long time to level up. And even if you have a lot of resources you're still going to need more. The last level of suppression for example costs 400 million resources so it takes a long time to get there. I have a March that's gathering 980k per hour and I'm still trying to push it farther because I still need resources. Especially after hearing from a lot of people that it seems to cost more resources to upgrade the classes, they're adding suppressions to the general perks, and the fact that I'm still a long way from finishing the regular suppressions

You definitely right on getting more attack and HP in the future. I mean when you get late game and you're attack is over a thousand or in some cases over 2,000 what's 40% attack from phantom or 35 from dragon

Was a LC, still a mech. Was ready to start the last lvl of gathering elite with 140 gears in the bank. I'm now at 3hm but was over 150 gears away, kinda hurts.
They did end up putting more in the trees because they took the suppressions out and put them in the general perks so I mean it does result in the trees being bigger so some things are just going to end up being farther away.
Mate I've been playing the game for almost half a year without purchases now and am almost at lv80. Couldn't have done it without your information man, really appreciate all the work you put in your videos and research.

I don't know if I am going to lose my profession perk speedups if they are unused or will I get all the 5 minute speedups back plus all remaining unused speedups. Does anyone know this?
All your class speed ups will still be there and everything that's going to get refunded to you will be refunded in 5 minutes. So you will get credit for all the research you have already done. The only thing we are unsure about is if you are currently in the process of doing a research we don't know if you'll get that back

Completely done with my tree, are you saying I won't have enough resources to completely finish it again?
You might be short both classes take about 7,200 class items to finish I believe the old systems were anywhere between 7000 and 7200 depending on the class. I also haven't looked at the resource cost. But based on what I've been seeing in a lot of the comments it sounds like it may have gone up because they did add a lot to the trees. Plus your suppressions from your class upgrades have been moved to the general perks so you'll have to upgrade those again. Between all of them there are a total of 60 levels each level costs 18.4 million of both food and oil and takes 43 hours to upgrade.
The face reveal makes this update almost worth it.

I’ve always been told that combat elite is more expensive. But how so?
For combat elite there's a skill that is not required for next tier it's "Tier-1 Higher Alert", it increases def but it's costly to max out. You might want to rush for extra skill slot first instead of wasting resources on upgrading this one. I got 6/10 on it and realized I need to wait a bit to get skill slot. New tree takes a lot of items and it should take a long time before choosing between specialization. Last tier of the combat elite tree isn't even revealed yet.
I think Mech Master has a coming soon tab as well. It irritates me that they took so long to come out with the class update and they finally come out with it and it's not even finished

With how many people fell into the trap of switching their class before using their class items I'd be a little surprised if they don't do a switch event

If you were going to switch classes you need to make sure that you spend all the class items for your current class before you switch.
As far as how the facilities work. If you are a mechanical master and you build facilities those facilities will automatically generate some resources over there life. When they are destroyed it will be sent to you in the mail. Your troops only have to be in the facility building it while it's currently building but once it's finished you can pull your troops out. Of course if you leave them there they're also going to gather additional resources like they would in any other facility
@@WGtopwar I was CE before so I have only Nameplates I wanted to do MM first then Switch them to CE Does it possible? Because The Only Thing I need is Mechanical Gear Do I get Mechanical Gear after Trainee Officer? And What is the Amount of That Additional Resources?
They have to class switch items. Use them to go to CE use all your gears then use the second switch to go to MM

Well you don't have to use your class reselect item right away. You could just hang on to it while you burn those name plates. And in the meantime you could stop by the name plates and start buying gears

I would recommend mech master to help develop your account. You can always switch to combat elite later one you've upgraded your class and suppression's far enough

I'm not a fan of the rework I lost specific unit atk % and gained all unit atk. And I dont think they gave all the rss and speeds that were used I think we got about half when we switched. Because now that I've picked combat elite, if I want to switch I'd lose half of everything which is not cool whatsoever

I think they give back all that yoy used before the rework only thing I add here is some peoples think they got back less rss speedup and nameplate/ gear is becuase they might have research going on when the rework update comeout and becuase of that they loss whatever is in progress the time of update

For the research specifically for three hero it's 300 class items. I don't know how many a class items total it is to reach that point though. You can see all the costs in the top war Bible which is posted in my discord. My discord is in the description of this video
I wait dev be more generous to give more expeditions tokens, and I guess will have more expeditions levels since everyone have 3 heroes

I feel it everybody can do whatever they want. I just recently switched from MechMaster to combat elite. I only went back to develop my account and my suppressions are almost done and with eternal lands coming up it's time to switch back to combat

I wouldn't say you lost resources. It's just they added a lot to the class trees so some stuff got moved down it. Don't get me wrong, I completely get the suck of the situation though

I'm not sure how Top War did the math on the refunds when they make the change, but it sucks. There is no one on my server that got a balanced refund. We ran out of one of the three thing way before the others. I had finished the Combat Elite tree and had started on the Tactical Master. I ran out of speed ups on the second row of Combat Elite on the new tree and had 121M resources and 87 nameplates left over. It feel like I should have been able to make it to the fourth or fifth row to have the same level of progress as I did before. Only one person in my alliance has their lowest level buildings back. I'm really not sure what this "fixed". It feels more like a kick to the groin.

So if you had 1000h worth of tech then you got 1000h worth of speed ups

I've heard a lot of people complain that they haven't gotten the appropriate amount of resources and items refunded for the update. Well I haven't been able to see it I do have some hunches. I hear the profession tree that everyone gets eats up resources. And that certain abilities we were used to haven't got moved to different areas in the tree. As a result a lot of people think they've been stiffed. This is just a guess from what I've gathered from a lot of other people's comments

I can't really think of a best place. They are just randomly sprinkled into events. But I can't really think of one that regularly gets you a bunch.

At least it gives you a chance to save up class items. Most people hit a class item wall eventually. I think I've spent around 4k class items and to finish the tree you need 7.2ish

Second strongest in my server, recently switched to mech. I dont think i could ever go back its so good!
I'm going to be switching on Wednesday when we finally get our class update to Mech. I think it'll be much more fun you still have decent combat capabilities while also having access to much more features and things to do

@@WGtopwar more content woot woot and I think a cool idea would be a guide for smaller players showing what’s important to hold on too for instance in your opinion what are legion points best spent on because I could spend 12k for perk books but that doesn’t seem very efficient.
Mastery research and class items are the big things in there. But with the class rework and everybody getting access to the craftable mech master items or at least they used to be Mech Master items so you're going to need sophisticated drawings to upgrade them so those are the only place to get them and are probably going to be your priority.

The classes? A lot of people are complaining that they're weaker. I think the combat elite just doesn't have as big of a lead over MechMaster anymore. Mech Master definitely got a big buff though
The rework, the rework, made me weaker, never got all, my stuff back, received my speed ups, than needed, nameplates and resources fell fast, working again to where I was, it did not help
Anyone who was combat elite definitely got weaker but Mech Masters definitely got a buff now that they have three heroes

I agree however I think the week gained more ground in the strong did. The classes are definitely more "balanced" then before. But they did a horrible job with how they decided to do it

As a f2p LC before the rework and who is continuing as a Mech Master, this rework feels like a HUGE boost! The extra march queue by itself is a game changer for me. However I can sympathize with the Combat Elites in my server who feel screwed over.
A tip when your server does get the rework: use speed-ups to get the research time under 5 mins and then finish with gems. It only costs 2-3 gems each time and you'll bank a lot of speed-ups by the time you catch up to where you were before. I managed to squeeze an extra perk out of the tree doing this.
A lot of our Grand Marshals started out at tac Master because tac Master is way better than Grand Marshal up to the point of three hero and then we would switch over. We've been using that trick and you're right It makes a big difference.
And I don't think the combat elite should feel screwed over. They are still stronger than the McMasters maybe just not quite as big of a gap. I think the thing people should be upset about is the lack of customization we now have. Before we had four unique classes that kind of all went in their own way and now we have two that are very similar to each other in some ways
@@WGtopwar They're feeling a little screwed by the power loss, which seems to he about 100 less than before, but I think most of the frustration is the resource/nameplate loss. All of them are saying they have less than before. Meanwhile all the Mech Masters seem to have gained resources and Gears. Personally, even after getting further than before, I have about 100mil more food/oil and about 100 more Gears than before.
I think people are misinterpreting the fact that they're not quite as far in their tech tree as a loss. They added a lot to the tech trees but removed the suppressions and put those in the general perks. So I could see how that gives the impression of losing ground. But this is just a guess since I haven't really had a chance to look at it myself. Both of the new classes still do take about 7,000 class items which is comparable to before

I'm sure if we looked at the spreadsheets we could add up the costs and figure it out but since there's nothing we can do about it either way it doesn't matter all that much

Completely agree with only one thing to add to that is of course the three hero from Mech Masters is a buff but that's the only thing. But overall it feels like the classes have been gutted and simplified and I hate it

From what I understanding, TW took everything that GM, TM, LC, & GS were into CE & MM and remake those 'Specialize Classes' into something completely new. Because CE & MM are 'Advance Classes' and not 'Specialized Classes'. The last perk of CE & MM (which is tier 14) is actually called 'Stay Tuned'. 🙄

I just mention something in my server's discord that maybe they will release the Specialize Classes after the SvS tournement is concluded.

The big plus for me is the extra march, nice. The big minus is that I spent four months as a Grand Marshal working towards three heroes only for everyone else to have access. Making choices means not getting everything...
I was looking at the stats and the combat elite tree once you've unlocked everything for it if you're using all orange heroes at level 120 you're going to get an extra march size of 15 the mech masters
Have a March size increase but it's farther down their tree and only 10. I wonder how long this game can continue to inflate numbers before it breaks the game?
