How to Leave Town actually is basically full of songs that were originally supposed to be on Teens of Denial but were taken out since they didn’t really fit! All of the songs on Teens of Denial were already basically written at the same time that the HTLT songs were also written. You can find demos of a few ToD songs before they upped the production quality and changed the sound
