Bought the Sauvage elixir 100ml two weeks ago and performance is really not what it used to be when it was released. It is less potent and sweet. It lacks the smokiness of the initial batches. Regret buying it. How is the performance? Does it need macerating? Thank you.
My 13 yr old son had sample and was obsessed. Ended up getting it for Christmas. He must be refined for his age lol

I agree on the age appropriateness of this fragrance. I'd say even the price point reflects that. And it's coming with me to Germany. As for sprays, I never spray more than two. And that's a great thing. My 60ml bottle will last forever.
I’m wearing Sauvage Elixir at the moment, I have to say Elixir cuts through the cold and that’s where this fragrance excels,yeah no more than 2 sprays, I got a headache spraying more than 2 when I tried it the first time,I’m in the Southern Hemisphere and we’re in the middle of Autumn and it’s such a pleasant scent on that cold mornings
Best review I've heard. Went into a store planning to buy it. The opening offended my senses. Ended up buying the EDP which I enjoy. But the next day, I wanted to smell the Elixir on my shirt from the previous day. Dries down great.

With the pressurized atomizer on the Parfum, I can do my whole neck area with one spray including the front if I wish. I wore it today around the house and after 10 1/2 hours it's a faint skin scent but still bussin on the shirt. Next Wednesday is gonna be a high of 65. I'll rock the Elixir and see how many washings I need to remove it from the shirt. But you can definitely rock it one day and hang the shirt up and use it another day with out spraying anymore. One cashier told me that she could smell it when I was near the end of the checkout line, and that it smelled really nice. I felt that was a lil bit TOO beastly, but I was glad it didn't piss her off
I've had other extraits that I sampled and they had great longevity but moderate projection. Will definitely have a 60ml before fall. Thanks for posting ❤
I keep hearing about Elixir. I'm going to have to try it. My buddy wanted to buy a mass appeal cologne. He had been wearing 1 million and some girl at work told him he smelled like crap 😂 so I told him to get Dior Sauvage. He ended up buying the EDT. Now when I tried the EDT, it smelled good, kinda clean shower gel. But when my buddy wears it, I'm like dude what is that? Cause it smells like a nice sharp cinnamon. Weird how stuff smells different on others.
I agree about the house sweater. I have a zip up hoodie I wear and it's fun smelling fragrances I was wearing a couple days ago. Cool to know I'm not the only one. I'm really enjoying your videos. I love Elixir! Both EDT and EDP are headache inducing for me. I actually like the Parfum best compared to the EDT and EDP.
DSE is the only Sauvage I like and own and use. The stuff is indeed nuclear and potent.
Love it in fall and winter.
Can't imagine putting it on in spring/summer though. 😀
I got it! I was like you, first spray I think I like it, then I don't like it, then I like it again, then after 3 hours, its amazing. the dry down is amazing. And it is literally last forever.
I must admit ELIXER is elite it's a compliment magnet on me and the performance is immense I have a lot of niche scents amd this is not out of place at all... I will say this though the ELIXER is totally different to the other 2

Dude. I sinned. I broke down and bought Sauvage Elixir a month after saying I couldn’t stand it. My first time smelling this was in Sephora and it smelled insanely gross, I’m talking straight up heavy spices and hot sweat. This wasn’t just on my skin it was in the air and the tester strip I sprayed it on which was done before I put it on my skin. No idea what was up with that bottle but I just couldn’t get it out of my head how so many people liked it. Last week I bought a 30ml bottle and no heavy dirty spices… How though? The bottle I have right now literally smells fresh similar to a fir Christmas tree and when it’s on my skin it turns into the fresh woody fir tree scent and creeps into a almost sweet chocolate scent then goes musky then slightly spicy but nothing like my first experience with it. I’ve become a fan. Now to be honest when I do spray it’s never a full spray and it’s on each wrist and 1/3th of a spray on my neck and that’s it because I’m deathly afraid to over do it with this scent. Lucky the atomizer allows such spray.
Hey Melissa have you smelled the new YSL? If not could you do a review? I’m a masc trying to get at least four scents for each season and I’d love to see what you think of it. Oh I forgot to say the name Y eau de parfum intense

I'm in my 30s and Sauvage Elixir may be my most complimented fragrance and they come from women. I agree that of you are in your teens or early 20s then this may not be for you yet. Or atleast the women in that age range may not yet appreciate something like Elixir
This is the strongest most long lasting fragrance I've ever smellt.

I can actually see this. I don’t like Sauvage Elixir but I blind bought 1 million elixir, wore it and could still smell it on my clothes faintly except it smelled much better and less sweet after washing most of it out of my clothes. Luckily I got a 200ml bottle of that for $115. I told the cashier they definitely marked the wrong price on it after I had paid for it and quickly left 😅

The less you spray, the better it smells and it's more alluring as it blends with my natural scent. I have both, the EDT and the Elixir in my collection. They're both bangers. Got a few compliments from Elixir. All women "surprisingly."
The hate is phenomenal, but you gotta take the good with the bad I guess.

elixir smells good, but not my favorite. In the club though, it just overpowers everything. probably the best party fragrance for that reason.

Totally different scents. Definitely try before you buy. Elixir smelled like Christmas trees while Parfum smelled crazy good with ambroxan turned down with added sweetness.
I went with the Parfum, ignore the haters on TH-cam bashing it.

You have to like fougeres to like this.
It smells like a sweet shaving cream. It’s a textbook example of what a fougere style perfume should smell like imo.
I know all of the line are considered to be fougere, but I have the edt and edp and it takes a back seat on those the citrus and pepper are upfront. You don’t get that with elixir.
Personally this was te fragrance to start my legit “fragrance journey”, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I had sold my 60ml I got the April before last but just re-bought a 100ml and it is here to stay.

sauvage elixir is not for everyone, tried it twice, overrated and over priced, I can't believe I'm saying this but I would rather wear Edp than elixir or spend the 165 on a niche fragrance.
Dior Sauvage Elixir smells just like MFK Pluriel Homme
No matter how hard you try dior Sauvage is nasty and lingers forever lol
