I made a mistake upgrading to pt studio from pt8. The installation & hours of plugin serial numbers is ridiculous just to get my emailed spammed from those companies. Logic is now my first option from now on

I tried this and the audio was terrible compared to logics algorithm for keeping loops at a sessions tempo. so much artefacts even when changing the poly rhythmic and varispeed.
A lot of producers also like to chop the drum loop and move the kicks snare and hats to separate tracks mix them separately. Are there any shortcuts for grabbing each snare in place on the grid and moving them to their own track keeping their grid placement? Of course Hats and kIcks as well. Although obviously you could just leave the kicks on the first track and just move snares and hats. Can I chop the drum loop and save the chops as 1 shots in soundbase? Can I chop the drum loop and move the 1 shots into groove cell? Also chopping a piece of a sample and reversing the audio for a transitional sound effect. like reverse snares in LoFi. or a reverse vocal or any audio really its a cool effect.
Yes good point. You can use the Grabber in Object mode to select several hits in the chopped sample and drag out to another track (hold Ctrl to lock timing). Moving chops directly to GrooveCell or Soundbase...not right now but it's being worked on.
I do this all the time, I've been producing in PT since 05 & still going strong. Will be glad to go live and showcase this soon. I've done a lot of breakbeat chopping and re-arrangements in PT. But would love to help💪🏽💯
