Love my gibraltar rack and the possibilities it lends itself too! Have had a full three sided custom curves job and now using it like a stealth rack! Great piece of kit.
These videos are awesome Brent, keep em comin. 14 to 27 minutes per vid worth of kit setting goodness would be awesome. More videos with your take on stand and accessory setups would be great also
You guys should do a video where you build the most elaborate kit possible with a rack, and then try to replicate it with JUST stands, and no connection points between them, and every piece has its own dedicated stand.
Hey Brent, long time no see!!! That rack is Sic man!!! Especially the front 2 main cymbals!!! Now stupid question alert, where do customers find what components went into this build especially the main cymbals?? Do you guys have a catalog with all those different parts listed??? I can't keep all the numbers straight!!! I have a small Gibraltar rack that I'd like to grow someday!!! Thanks great vid!!! Good to see you back!! Hope all is well!!!
Tim the gun guy thanks for the comment and for watching! We do have a catalog with all the parts we offer, as well as on our website. We are also going to be coming out with a rack catalog sometime this year so it will be easier to find thibgs
Brent, this rack looks pretty cool, but I think the guy in charge of setting it up and down night after night is going to hate you and curse you and all your descendants until the tenth generation..... =P Well, seriously now, I understand that in a big show the look of the drum kit is a part of it and it's cool to "make it shine", but I'm a pragmatic guy and am always trying to set all the pieces I need with the least possible harware... maybe because nobody sets my kit up for me.... snif.... =P But it's great to see your videos again, you always bring us cool stuff.... !!

I wouldn’t use it if I had to set it up and take it down myself night after night. I would choose something more simplistic. But all of these complicated rack builds are done for artists who are performing on large stages, and need to be impressive. Most of the time they have someone who’s #1 job is to set up the drummer. The guy in the video helping me to build it, is Devin’s drum tech...
Bret, I want to use the curved rack setup. I'm looking to not have side rack supports. I was thinking a curved or a straight bar coming behind for support. I use 3 mounted toms, a 14" floor on the left & a 16" on the right, 2 remote DW hi-hats ( 1 left the other on the right) single bd, double pedal.
