i like the new big picture, but i really think it's only good for the steam deck, Valve really should have kept the option to keep the old big picture mode since a lot of basic controller customization is hidden under obtuse menus in the newer big picture. it was so much easier to customize your controls the way you'd like in this version...
@@theeblueguy__this is pretty much useless to me, i play on the deck and the old big picture was more use with an actual ability to disable the controller so non steam games work with the controller.... otherwords they removed it so you have to buy from steam or find another workaround

downgrading the Steam client to an older version with the -vgui option and then click "help" and afterwards press alt+enter
