    I´ve been to Prague and it´s really a wonderful city. In that area no matter how cheap a restaurant might be it´s still a tourist trap. If you have a good travel guide you can find real restaurants where local people go with Czech and international options for a much cheaper price. You may have to take the Metro or a Tram to get out of the tourist downtown.

    Did you notice how many people who were actually communicating with each other and not sitting there like drones and plunking on their phones. And why not it's a fantastic city.

    Also, Trdelnik is not traditional (at least not czech traditional, it's Hungarian) food. It arrived here about three years ago and boomed in all big cities as it is fancy for turists.

    Too bad you fly away so soon. There are lot of other cool places in the country worth visiting. Towns such as Český Krumlov, Karlovy Vary, Kutná Hora, Třebíč, Telč, Lednice, Ostrava, Brno, Kroměříž, Olomouc, ... and also lot of beautiful mountains, castles, litlle villages and rural areas all over the county.

    Ohhhh, s u c h a magnificent city! That part of it, though, really is an over-priced 'tourist trap'; am pretty sure that very few - if any - "local" people frequent (m)any of the establishments thereabouts. Oh and, regarding the relative lack of "religiousness" amongst the Czechs: from what i understand, one of the major reasons for it was the fact that - during the Reformation - the majority of the 'Bohemian' (/Czech) peoples had actually wanted to be(come) Protestant, but the staunchly Roman Catholic, 'ruling', Austrian-Hungarian Imperial powers-that-were refused to allow it, so the people adopted an attitude of, "oh, alright then; we'll 'remain RC...on paper'!", and more or less just gave "religion" up, pretty much altogether ( ...to their definite credit, i should actually say!) ~Yet another marvellous video/vlog, **Gabe,* truly...!!

      Thanks, glad you're enjoying them. I'm not particularly fascinated with churches, there are just a lot of them in Europe, so they keep ending up in my videos. I'm not very religious myself, I don't subscribe to any religion.

    i was last year in prague(praha,prag or praga) as many people prefer to call this city.. it is the capital city of cezch republic and bohemia province ..it was nice in architecture but so bad if someone wants to study for than one year.. it is not really international city and english is not used widely . .. there many shops without different items and products for sale.. honestly this city is only for 4 days as maximum to explore.. ..

  • @danielmoyle8794
    @danielmoyle8794 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Gabriel. There are times (like in this video) when the picture is crystal clear and high quality and other times like you last video where the footage quality is compromised. Are you switching cameras or is it how you are exporting and uploading?

    • @GabrielTravelerVideos
      @GabrielTravelerVideos  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Daniel, I'm not switching cameras, just using the GoPro. This video wasn't edited at all, maybe that's why? I always process the videos at 1080p and 60fps, but I wonder if they're still losing some of the quality in the processing. I'm just watching on my laptop so maybe I'm not seeing the difference like you might be if you're watching on a larger screen.

    • @danielmoyle8794
      @danielmoyle8794 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes could be it, I am watching on very large tv screen and this would show up a little more. All the nest with your travels. We are in India in December to Jan so if you happen to be back in the area would love to catch up.

      Like you said it was when prague was under communism, of course it was filled up with other people from other communists countries because it was one of the best city in the soviet union, that was in the past, now Prague is pretty homogenous, there are no immigrants in the streets and the only foreigners you see are students, is a nice city.
