Looking at building one, currently between a superlite, ultima, mk4 cobra, or slc gtr for my first kit. How tall are you? I typically don’t fit into many things and have concerns I won’t fit into any of them. Also, what were your main reasons for letting yours go. Thanks so much.
This Is perhaps my dream car and I have been saving to purchase a kit. The only problem is I can’t justify the impracticality and everything the car doesn’t have. Can I ask how much was your total build minus labor?
@@NationFirstGreenville22 The SLC is basically a street legal race car. It wasn't very easy to live with on the street. My Lotus Elise is downright civilized in comparison.
@@psballent thank you for the heads up. I've never even sat in one, but I'm having a hard time finding another car I would rather drive right now for under $100K, because of the looks and the track performance
Simply beautiful. Glad you're still enjoying it!
I love your button layouts. I need to set mine up like that
How does the SLC Superlite compare with the Ultima RS???
Very ice great job.

does the front lift come with the kit or is it an add on
Hi Pete, just watched your auction experience video. Just wondering what was next in the story. Did you sell your SLC? How did it go?
I sold the SLC and bought a Lotus Elise. Pics on instagram @peteb37
@@psballent Great :) Can you do an owner's review and comparison of those two cars? Both are rare and unique but have a few similar characteristics.

Argenis Perez About $85k
Great job what did it cost you to build? Merry Christmas to you and yours
Thanks. I stopped counting at $85k
@@psballent any chance you could share what made you get rid of it? Was it the Lotus that drew away, or the SLC that drove you away?

What do you do if you get pulled over since the windows don’t roll down?
Don’t get pulled over. Seriously, open the door.
The exterior looks great, but Id rearrange the working components
I know it’s a old video but how’s the front lift do driving on roads with mild bumps.
Bbd L The lift is for speed bumps, driveway entrances, etc. It’s not fast enough to use while driving down the road.
I know you sold it but did you build it all yourself? And if so, how long did it take you???
M Luciw I built it. It took me 3 years
@@psballent Thanks, wow, 3 years.....quite the investment.
Did you build this car yourself?
Farrell Lynch Yes
I want to build one.
How much are you selling it for?
Sold it over a year ago
psballent sold at Mecum Indy perhaps?
You’re being a little too transparent about not being transparent with the windshield description. Lol... sounds funny but it’s true.
Looking to sell?
Cuanto cuesta en pesos mexicanos
Creeo que el kit cuesta $44.000 dólares americanos sin motor y transmisión
