I just got oxide sprays. At Christmas. I still haven’t used them but I love them so much. I also haven’t even opened my gesso yet. We’ve struggled financially for about 4 years so I’ve slowly scraped up the money for supplies I really want, but I’m still squirming my way through the scarcity mindset, just starting to taste the fresh air on the other side ❤
I love the smooching technique! 😂 My favorite colors of ink are Peacock Feathers, Victorian Velvet, Dried Marigold, Bundled Sage, Vintage Photo and walnut Stain. I have others but don’t use them as often. ❤
On the other purple page circles, you could mix swirls on them and they would look like roses, but you could use parts of them and cut them to make flowers like in the corners to use some of that white space??
I felt your pain with the purple circles. When I venture far from my comfort zone I don’t have fun and rarely like what I’ve done. I like to be comfortable!😂 That envelope is perfection! Look at Distress Oxide Bundled Sage-seems a perfect fit for your color palette.❤
You did a great job! The only oxides I have are vintage photo and brushed corduroy and then in ink I have frayed burlap and rusty hinge. As you can see, I like the browns. I'm pretty sure scorched timber and tea dye are my bext oxides and then I'll get versafine clair fallen leaves. TFS 😊
Meg you are wonderful ! I love watching you work. Suggestion; could you please use a stronger microphone so I can hear you? Your voice is very soft and I cant hear you. Thanks keep up the good work.

I understand how you feel. But a little goes a long way, and makes a big impact. Enjoy the heck out of them!! 👏🌷

Might I suggest Lost Shadow, Scorched Timber, Weathered Wood, Spun Sugar, Wild Honey and Speckled Egg for additional Distress Oxides to explore.
Vintage photo and tea dye for sure!
I also used saltwater taffy and shaded lilac a lot. Really love the oxides 💕
Just love your process and the way you play with the bits and bobs to make wonderful pages, thanks.
great ideas! I love the purple circles. Where did you get your botanical book, as it so awesome? Thank you
I love the watercolour circles ❤ and its nice of you to show the things you are not happy with too x
You can’t ever go wrong with Vintage Photo and a new favorite of mine right now is Milled Lavender!

I really loved how the watercolor circle page turned out. This was a good week for you in your book. Hugs, treen 💕💕💕
Thanks for this fun video. It’s so helpful to see inside your process with such candor. I like Brushed Corduroy because it shifts a lot.
Going to try your smooshing method and large botanical with highlights
These pages are gorgeous !!
Lost Shadow and Speckled Egg would be my suggestions for additional distress oxides.
Dusty Concord, Bundled Sage and Spun Sugar are three of the Distress Oxides I use a lot!
Love your pages as usual. I did love the purple circles and adding the the tape to them.
Art journaling is def my fav!
I love forest moss, vintage photo and lost shadow.
that last envelope!!! Perfection...
I love the way you create texture in your pieces, that's something I always try to work on 🥰

Meg, I'm always happy when a new video from you pops up! It is so relaxing to watch you create! May I ask you where the beautiful rubons are from?
The brand is MU 😊
@@megjournals Thank you!
Love the watercolor circle page!❤
My favorite ink pad is the Chipped Sapphire. It smooshes wonderfully.
I loved the soft watercolor page. It was simple & very pretty. The envelope page was totally lost on me. Though, I like the ray idea.
What is the name of the botanical book you cut your flowers from please
Thank you for sharing!!!
Maybe cut those pink circles from the vellum and try pasting them on a book page/ other background.
