I would never use TA like following gaps and such. Pure foolishness. The only TA I do is trend trading. They're far more stable especially when you look at the float and institutional ownership. If you get firms with long term time horizons then they won't sell it for anything. They'll buy dips.

You don't know what you have missed. The market is driven by supply and demand. Gaps indicates an imbalance of supply and demand and can be very profitable.
