    I have a question but what would you do if they are having a severe allergic reaction and an epipen (sorry if I misspelled it) is not in reach apart from calling the ambulance excuse my ignorance on this subject.

      Change their position to accommodate for their symptoms and no matter what always provide reassurance

      if there is no epipen, first call the ambulance then give them any kind of antihistamine you have. benadryl probably. then try to calm them down until the ambulance gets there

    What do you do if you don’t have an epi pen?? Because my whole face is swelling and i’m sneezing a lot even tho i know it’s not severe lol

      Epipens are for life threatening reactions only. If you aren’t dying then you don’t need one. If u are having a life threatening reaction and you don’t have one, then you gotta get someone to rush you to the hospital and call 911. If you have no epipen and you’re all alone then you’re probably fucked but call 911(or emergency services) and tell them before you lose consciousness if you can.

      I got bitten by several ants a few months ago and my face swelled up a little but breathing was mostly easy, I just took some Benadryl (Dipenhydramine) and that fixed it

    Shouldn’t the person with the allergy be administering the epipen themselves?

    • @marleyweirHHS
      @marleyweirHHS ปีที่แล้ว +2

      a lot of the time the person will black out or be too shaky to administer it themselves

      Hi, it could be the washing powder, could be the deoderant, could be the hair shampoo, could be nail polish or nail polish remover. Could be a scent in talcum powder. Could be the body wash, soap or handwash, could be her toothpaste. I have a problem with these items. I have found substitutes. Maybe she goes to work and is exposed to someone who smokes. I am having an allergic reaction because I have been in another persons car that has an air freshener, it is maddening. Contact me if you want to know about substitutes, good luck.

      Have a allergy medicine, like a liquid allergy medicine in your cupboard. I had a severe reaction in which my tongue swelled and my throat was closing. I poured allergy medicine on my tongue and down my throat and it helped immediately. It takes hours for the reaction to subside completely though. I should have went to the hospital but I had my kids home sleeping at night and wasn’t sure what to do. But I’m glad I had the allergy medicine and didn’t need to call an ambulance. My reaction was to buckwheat and I didn’t realize I was allergic to it till that reaction.

    Wow, watching those hives dissolve every day until they disappear is definitely appeasing, I went with what I commented about and after 20 or so days the urticaria’s history, I simply go'ogled the latest by Shane Zormander and now my skin is as smooth and healthy as it has ever been!
