Don't be afraid just listen to your body and you'll know what's best for you and your little one ❤
Wow, 4500 Gramm!
Herzlichen Glückwunsch on your second baby! I'm a Croat living in area around Munich. So i appreciate you talking about Germany from another perspective. I also want to mention not everywhere here is two times vaccined a must. But on the other hand we've done home birth (last year) which ended in the hospital and our midwife was once working in that very hospital and had a lot of influence on how they treated us there :) needless to say my husband was with me the whole time and we went the same day my child was born home (ambulante Geburt) we waited with cutting the umbilical cord and baby was immediately on my chest. We didn't take any antibiotics, vitamins etc baby or me because we didn't want to. I was in private room although we're not private insured
1. Your baby is beautiful!! Thank you for sharing her with us 💜 Also thanks for normalizing breastfeeding! 2. Never apologize for doing what’s best for you. 3. I bought the evowera toothbrushes for my kiddos and they LOVE them!! And I love that I can track their brushing. I’m so glad that you reviewed them bc I had no idea they existed! All that to say, bring on the sponsors lol Thanks for making great content! I wish you all the happiness in the next step of your motherhood journey 💜
Thank you so much for your lovely and confidence boosting comment, Amanda! 🥰💛 I’m also so glad your kiddos love them! Mine is still so excited to get his virtual sticker at the end (and hates the mean tooth that pops up if he hasn’t brushed enough 😂🙈) so it’s also a huge win in our house!
Lady, you're so cool! Can't imagine uprooting your life from one end of the world to the other and actually making adjustments along the way until everything makes sense. This is so cool. Congratulations on your lovely family. Tchüss
I almost missed you whole pregnancy! Congrats for the little baby girl. Glad she and you seem to be healthy "g'sund und g'fräß" like we say down in the south west. And how did I manage to live so long without your cheerful videos? Love them!
Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your private time and the wonderful experience of having a baby. So sorry your husband couldn't be with you during labor. That's when you probably would have taken comfort in having him by your side! Your daughter is beautiful! I'm sure it wasn't an easy delivery for you having your baby face up plus her weight. WOW!!! Good for you to deliver her naturally! My grand daughter was also face up and my daughter told me that the delivery was so much harder than her son's birth. Those girls! They are trouble! Get ready! You'll be busy and you'll have so much fun!. All the best to you and your family!
Congrats! I am happy that all went well in the end and baby is healthy. Baby Girl will become a very intelligent person with that weight. I somewhere read that weight at birth and intelligence is correlated.
Was fuer ein spezieller GeburtsTAG! Herzlichen Glueckwunsch! habe alle meine 3 Jungs natuerlich, ohne Medikamente, bekommen! Einen davon in den USA mit 9.1 lb:)! It‘s not fun, but doable! Your German is excellent! You have gotten so obviously a German attitude as well;)! 🤗 Enjoy your bundle of joy! So cute! I hope, your Mom can stay a little bit longer!
You know, I read your community post announcing Mila's arrival, but I didn't connect her weight to her physique - seeing her I now appreciate your statement about the birth being painful. You women are truly marvellous - and this is coming from a guy with no kids of his own 💛💛. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It's been truly a joy watching this video (especially where your mom is holding Mila and you can see that your little girl has a fan for life...). Don't let the haters get to you for using sponsors, though. Hey, you've got to finance that "little hobby" of yours somehow, don't you? We're glad that you've decided to stay with us and we're looking forward to any future content. Just take your time and cherish every second with your family first. Finally: I'm glad you're over the flu and your cough and are back to your normal, bubbly self😁👍💛
Thank you so much, as always, for your incredible support! I really appreciate how much love you put into your comments 🥰 and always look forward to reading them!!
Congratulations to you and your lovely family! 10 pound baby!!! Way to go! I enjoy all your content, avid fan from BC Canada that has a girl crush on Germany. lol
Congratulations!!! Such a beautiful little babe! Thanks for sharing all of this, I'm a Canadian living in Bavaria, due to give birth in February so this was super interesting. Big fan of your channel and your future plans sound great, i'm here for it :)
Omg that is crazy, it sounds like you went through LOADS of obstetric violence, im glad you and your baby are okay tho, hope you have the time to process and take care of yourself, you deserve it!
After I was gradually able to get to know your family a little bit and especially your mom, then the little lady could only become a very sweet little treasure, a bundle of joy that puts a smile on my face and many others. 'm so so happy for you guys☺️🤩 Unfortunately, your birth and all the circumstances around it also show very clearly weaknesses in the German health system, problems that were caused by bad politics and unfortunately have never been rectified.
I really have been enjoying sharing a little bit more of my world with you guys 🥰💛 so sad my mom is gone, but am so thankful she stayed the 3 months with us! You’re right RE: birth… there were just simply not enough staff, not enough rooms, no enough time 🙈 thank goodness it all worked out in the end!!
@@lifeingermany_ Of course, with such a big lady coming out of you. I'm happy that everything worked for you. Nice that Daddy had chance to see his ladies, it must be terribly for him to not really know what happens and then finally he could visit you.
When I did give birth to my son last year they didn’t hade time to do a covid test. It was in the middle of the night and I was already in labor. So everything was going so fast. They forgot and did it afterwards in the hospital.
Great video. I am about to give birth in Germany also. How did it work with the mask when you were giving birth? Were you able to take it off when you had contractions and had to push? I am a bit scared about not getting enough air!
Don’t be scared 💛 it honestly all became a blur for me! I think for some contractions I had it off and since the hospital staff aren’t around through most of the contractions.. no one knew 🙈 in the birth room though I was the entire time without mask! I don’t even remember taking it off but I did at some point 😂😂
Ooo wow, you're partner wasn't there in labour !?! I gave birth just near you, in Köln, on 03 September and my husband was with me from the begining. (went to the hospital with already 8 cm and gave natural birth in only 1 hour and 15 minute)
Ohhh that’s so nice to read!! I’m so glad that at least some hospitals have loosened up their rules!! 💛💛 in Düsseldorf the partners can’t come in until 10cm and ready to push still 😣
My baby girl’s name is Mila Eloise (born Oct 21) I thought we were so original with the name, but turns out it was he 4th most popular name last year here in our area (yes also Germany). 😅 Greetings from Berlin!
Awww 🥰💛 hahah I learned the same shortly after too! 4 years ago I wanted to name my first baby Mila but it turned out to be a boy lol .. back then the name hadn’t come to Germany yet but now it’s so popular
you are really hardcore, and............ I like your mom very much (of course you too), thanks for sharing your expressions and your feelings, all the best for your family 😍🙋♂
🥰baby mila! May I ask you how old were you in your first n 2 nd pregncy..Just curious while my 30 year old mind is debating between my career and my instincts to have our first baby..😊
Ohh trust me I had this debate over and over again in my mind too! I decided if I wanted to do it, I better do it now so I can get back into work life quicker. I was 26 with my first and just turned 31 with my second 🙂 I think I’m done having kids now haha
@LifeinGermanyofficial Thank you so much for sharing your experience 🫶. I am afraid of episiotomy procedure. It is my first pregnancy here in Germany 🇩🇪. I don't speak German. I hope I have smooth and easy labor.
CONGRATULATIONS to your baby-girl and that everything went soooo well 👍👍👍!! The only thing that drives me crazy is the weirdest "dummy" (Schnuller) which I saw (too big and with a hole in it???) - they really look "ugly" and your daughter will not be happy about the pictures when she is older - trust me 😇😇😇!! I'm not quite sure if you bought this kind of dummy in Germany because I've seen these only in pics from the States! But I'm going to a drugstore today and have a look what they have to offer!?! Nice greetings from Germany/Hessen, Ela 🤗
I am glad to be a man, what a big belly, the birth must be ...... painful. But now it is over and you and your husband can enjoy the new life with the new life.
Haha, I probably could have since I ended up giving birth with no local anesthetics at all 🙈 would have likely been much more cozy at home too!! (Although I’m not sure if an episiotomy can take place in the home?)
Really, it can always be deadly. My first daughter came with helicopter to a childs clinic. Yes alternative ways are a dream. But please, dont play with life. I know a lot of mothers lost their babys by birth. But iam 61. Got my daughters with 29 and 40
@@lifeingermany_ Wow, circumstances really sound chaotic, but you made it - 4500g, Sternengucker and no meds, you can be really proud of yourself🤗! Seriously, I would have gotten a trauma, if I had been left alone. Pain was so horrible, but I felt safe since my partner was there and could call for help. I do not understand either why you did not get "Zugang". That was one of the first things they did with me. Good when you don't need meds, but better when you have all options in case you need. That's still why you go to hospital! Horrible, if the hospital is full and you have to go somewhere else.
