- Who does not remember his house, those streets are those fields and those friends all went live there and who came together, he was a dream once again to see his house back.But how many people have this dream fulfilled, how many people left this world for this Arman and went away and lived a dream back
Khushab was a walled city. It was Hindu populated city. before 1947 Muslims were not allowed to live in walled city but they could do only business over there. in 2019 One Mandir and One Gurdwara is still there. Gurdwara Building is being used as a school and Mandir building is vacant. Gali no 1, 2 , & 3, Mahallah Alam Panh, Mohallah Sharfu Wala, Jagatian wala khoh is still very well known places here, There are lot of old hindu houses there which all are allotted to Muslims family. Halwai( sweets) are famous here. Gurdwara was constructed in 1931 (mentioned on door) and the name of administrated of that time (name: Om parkash) is written on Sharfu wala Gate.

I was searching on the internet for people of khushab in India.And here I got.
I am from main khushab.I think the place he is talking about is now known as malikan walli galli and galli number 2 .The place where his shop was is on now main bazar and I think this is still a halwai shop , a migrator is running that. His name is kaka doodhi.Area, where hindus was living, is now mahajor area of khushab. And my home is on muslims side.

I'm from Jahurabad, Dist Khushab and have lots of friends from Khushab city & I'm sure they will dig out Baba ji's birthplace (Muhalla). Gona share this with them and get back to you. I have been to the old part of Khushab and the Muslim people who migrated from Ambala, India are living in them houses now. Will deffinetly try to get some more details regarding this.

Neither Hindus were bad nor Muslims were bad - it was the TIME that was bad. Very true. We both were loving friends like brothers. Let both of us forget and forgive each other and look to friendly future. Love from an Indian to Pakistan people.
Partition was bad. No one was bad until partition started then everyone wanted to claim and expel. Let history never repeat this nightmare. The British had been pinning Muslims against Sanatam Dharmis from the beginning as a strategy. The British translated all of Sanatan Dharam incorrectly to make them look crazy. Translated Devas, Devis and all religious figures to God. So when you speak to Sanatan Dharmis in English you will think they are polytheistic but if you use Punjabi, Hindi, Sanskrit then you will realize they’re Monotheistic. Polytheism and Islam don’t mix so British took advantage of that by mistranslating…
My family came from.dist khushaab only...my great grand dad was dr Santokh singh Narula. Wish could know more about the life and probably get to see his house again. I can relate to his stories since my dadu whom I lost last year..he was 105

I retired as High court judge from Shimla in 2011 and was appointed as head of the State consumer court for five years at Shimla.
