I've only seen about 1 group of reactors be upset that Kyoshi showed up just because it wasn't the same as the show, and I'm like how can you be mad at this? 🤣 It's no disrespect to the cartoon (which I have loved for 20 years) but it makes it so powerful for Kyoshi to show up and protect her home town once again and for Suki to see the woman her warrior class is named after! The fans wanted more Kyoshi and they heard our cries! 😂
You cannot ask for this characters to be childish, none of them!!! When a Child goes to war that part of them is gone, completely gone... Can you imagine a Child Soldier from Subsarian Africa being childish??? You can't, so, of course Aang is not childish, he cannot be!!!!
@ailyOfficialWar, Dude, he is in the middle of a WAR!! Do you want a infantile and Childish Child Soldier in the field??? And if you can see a Real Life Child Soldier be childish then you have no idea what their lives are like... Since this show is more grounded in reality, then it is natural for Aang and all the children in this world to be less childish and aparently more mature than in the cartoon With an agravating factor, before fleeing and going into the ice Aang was told he was the Savior, the Nuke of the world... Can you begin to imagine the burden that is to his 12 years old shoulders??? If something, the Cartoon was what was wrong in portraing Child Soldiers as irresponsible goofy children... In this world, where Adults are far away, kiling each other, it is the job of the children to behave like adults in their homelands and in saving the world (Aang, Katara and Sokka), so that, one day, when the war is over, they might get a chance at a life!!! In episode 4 you will understand what I am saying...
Yeah it’s what made the show fun, what you’re talking about is another story altogether. And ofc you can tell it but it’s not Atla without Aang being childish. It’s one of his main quality, the show being more grounded is alright but we just mentioned aspects that we miss from the original show is all, chill tf out 😂 it’s a valid criticism and you can like everything about the new show but we don’t have to like everything about it. Go get your total validation somewhere else 🥴
I think you’re missing an important part of the story. The world may have been at war for 100 years, but Aang missed it because he was trapped in the iceberg. He hasn’t had the weight of the world on him this whole time - he’s just learning about it now. In the animation his carefree spirit is a juxtaposition to the attitudes of the other teens & preteens he meets. Trauma changes you, but it doesn’t erase who you are completely, and the big message in ATLA is that Aang needs to find a way to stay true to himself - even in the face of war & unthinkable tragedy.
@@NotSoDailyOfficial And I’m pretty sure when the actors were cast they were: Zuko (Dallas Liu) 19 Katara (Kiawentiio) 14 Sokka (Ian Ousley) 19 Aang (Gordon Cormier) 12 … after filming & then post production with the VFX & all took about 2 years, they’re all several years older now. Supposedly they’re planning a time jump for seasons 2&3 because 14 year old Gordon can no longer pass for 12.

It just shows so much more how powerful she was. I mean everyone is talking about kyoshi, even tho the last avatar was a firebender
Sokka the last Rizz-bender, and I believe that Sokka will save the rizz 😂🥰
