but the answer to your question is - because he has a quickshifter, no need to decellerate as much on a quickshifter compared to a standard one.

just some advice, your shifting too early. go to redline and then shift it.
Think his bike may be a automatic
+Pandasaur us probably. But it depends on how much you press on the throttle when it shifts. just like cars. if you slam on the gas, then it shifts at redline of close. But I think he just might not be shifting later because I see him using the clutch.

you two don't have a clue how bikes work do you? he's quickshifting, he's riding at his own pace, leave him to it, it's no good going beyond what you can do, as soon as you go beyond, you fall. automatic bikes? good god, stay with cars.

One thing dude, for the love of god when you go on track please wear full leather gloves. those little gloves aren't gonna protect you at all. Please remember track etiquette. and in terms of shifting do hold your revs till at least near or redline.
