I can't find house rules on certain issues with the game:
When you draw a card/select discard pile and choose a facedown card, do you HAVE to swap? Can I keep my facedown and instead discard what I drew?
Can you take peek/steal/swap discard card as a number from discard pile?
When stealing, can you only steal face up cards? or can face down be traded too?
Tried playing it with family last night and specific rules are really unclear and I haven't found concrete answers.

When you draw a card/select discard pile and choose a facedown card, do you HAVE to swap? Can I keep my facedown and instead discard what I drew? ... You do not have to swap.
Can you take peek/steal/swap discard card as a number from discard pile? ... I do not understand this question.
When stealing, can you only steal face up cards? or can face down be traded too? ... You can steal both face up or face down, but if it's facedown, you don't know what you are getting.

This seems like a combination between Bibberbande and Skyjo.

I haven't heard of either of those.

They’re both European games and lots of fun!

@@lisadewaal7322 Thanks! I'll have to look those up! I found Skyjo on Amazon (amzn.to/3ajo4cK) but I can't find Bibberbande... Do you know where I can find that?

@@DadReviews Bieberbande is called "Rat-a-Tat-Cat" in America. Also, the "Peek" card lets you look at a card and then immediately take another turn; that's why it's better than just discarding.

@@davidl.hoytpuzzles9134 Thanks for the info. Some of our friends play Rat A Tat Cat! Super fun game! Thanks for the info about peeking. I don't think we were playing correctly... thanks for clearing that up!
