The reality: UNO: I HATE YOU AND EVERYONE IN FAMILY TREE DOS: well gentlemen, you played a formidable game but unfortunately for you I have to play a double colour match
That part. I've had this game for years now & every time I tried to read the instructions, I got confused. I honestly thought I was just being lazy & didn't want to read them thoroughly. But after watching this vid, it's clearly complicated & I wasted money buying the game.
Yeah.. I use UNO as DOS card but my friend and I played wrongly as possible (we play it like a speed racing stack game like solitaire instead of playing like this)
You more than likely played it right. This video is incorrect. Mattel (company that made this game) put a video up that shows you the correct way to play!
I was given this game as a gift and found it complicated to read the directions. But I watched this video and layed out the cards for multiple players like the video and it was easy to follow along. Thanks so much for making this much easier to grasp. Looking forward to teaching my nephew!
Thank you, now I know how to play DOS. I watched a lot of videos about the game "DOS", but I still didn't understand how to play it. Your video helped me in this and I understood how to play this game now I know how to play!!!
Very well said explanation. Dos is a fun game, and yes it was complicated to learn but after we got the hang of it then it became fun. However I've only played with one other player and it goes by too fast. Hopefully with more players it can last longer. I wonder if any other rules can be incorporated just like Uno such as Jump In and Stacking.
I’ve played DOS and I recommend to play with 3 or more players because if you play with two players, it’s goes by really fast and it ain’t as fun if the game finishes too quickly but more players add more strategy to it
Monopoly teaches you money management skills. Chess teaches you critical thinking skills. Spades teaches you team work and trust. These are the top 3 board games of all time.
Thank you!!! The printed rules did not clearly explain how to play, and other videos were confusing. This video was the only reason I didn't take the game back to the store.
I’ve been wanting to purchase this but me and my family love uno so we didn’t, we are on holiday but forgot to bring uno with us so decided to buy this game. I have found the game instructions complicated but this video was very helpful
Great explanation and start/stop playthrough for us visual learners, thank you! All other tutorials just regurgitate the written directions but you emphasised many questions I had not covered in the written rules. Perfect!
If the Colour and Numbers match when placing them down you get a bonus third card to place in the middle from your hand! Got it! Once the matches are made I can discard them! If two cards match the centre card and colour the award is dealing a card from hand and each player must pick up a card. If you don't announce Dos before another player does the penalty is you have to pick up two cards.
In your demo game, player 1 should have declared 'dos' during their second to last turn after they drew a card to have exactly two cards in their hand. Otherwise a solid tutorial.
Very helpful, was dying of laughter cause this turned from matching numbers and colors to matching colors. Bet Dos+ is gonna be a thing with skips and extra draw cards.
1) A wild 2 on a wild 2 will color match allowing the player to add a card to the center as a bonus, correct? 2) Same thing but with a wild # played on a wild 2 will color match as well, correct? 3) Also when a wild 2 played on a wild # will color match as well, correct?
I encountered the situation (1) on my very first play and following the same rules you mentioned. Couldn't find any rules for these situations on other tutorial videos as well
Thank God somebody knows how to explain the rules to this game.....I read the instructions over and over and over and wasn't getting it. I think I get it now for the most part except for the part where you can't play a card on your turn and you draw a card, and if you cant play that card you still get to play one of your cards when you lay it down beside the other cards. Just seems a little.....I dunno, seems like you should be penalized more for not being able to play a card on your turn. If you have 2 cards left, you cant play one so you draw a card and then you can immediately place it down if you cant play it, and you're back at 2 cards. Wouldnt it make more sense to have to keep it, adding to your total of cards in your hand? Just my 2 cents
Thanks for the explanation! I just don't understand the rules that Mattel has written; *If you cannot (or don't want to) make a match, you must draw a card.... (why woulnd't I ? I want to win?!?!) * If you have drawn and still cannot (or do not want to) make a match, lay one card from your hand face up in the Center row.... (well that gains both me and the player next to me...) Well me and my family really enjoys Flip instead :D Keep up the good work!
nice video as always. :) I've had DOS since it came out (I was STOKED for it!), and like most other UNO fans out there (from what I've seen on the internet anyway), it's just not what i was hoping for. IMO it's too easy and goes too fast. Too bad....I think Mattel was close but no cigar on this one. The idea is great and it has potential but it's missing something. Something I'm not smart enough to come up with haha. ;) If your an UNO lover like me, get UNO Flip! So much fun! :)
I think the part that gets me is that if you cant play a card, you pull one from the deck and if you cant use the card you pull, you still get to lay a card down in the middle instead of keeping the card and adding to your card total. Seems like you should be penalized more when you cant play a card, whereas with these rules you really arent punished much
I’d say that Uno and Dos both are really fun games, but Dos is just a bit more complicated. I prefer Dos because it’s Faster Pace and not as rage inducing though

DOS: "YOU GUYS READY FOR THE MIDTERM?"

Could you please do a tutorial on Spite and Malice?
Best instructions 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for this vid😙
This is sooooo muchhhh you explain so easily🤩🤩
Thank you for making this clear and precise video as the instructions are so confusing. I’m now able to play. This will be one of my favorite games.
Best explanation. Thank you
Thank you for this very easy to understand tutorial.
Thanks for the explanation!
I just don't understand the rules that Mattel has written;
*If you cannot (or don't want to) make a match, you must draw a card....
(why woulnd't I ? I want to win?!?!)
* If you have drawn and still cannot (or do not want to) make a match, lay one card from your hand face up in the Center row.... (well that gains both me and the player next to me...)
Well me and my family really enjoys Flip instead :D
Keep up the good work!
3:24 why can’t player 1 color match the 2?
This was the best explanation of this game. Wow! Thank you!
Very easy explanation thanks for the great effort
nice video as always. :)
M R what is missing are the +2 and +4 that make every single player suffer
yea, its more complicated and not fun enough to play. i make my own rules when i played it with ma friends😅
Maybe giving each player more than 7 cards and/or not allowing a simultaneous single/double match would slow it down some
Maybe giving each player more than 7 cards and/or not allowing a simultaneous single/double match would slow it down some
I think the part that gets me is that if you cant play a card, you pull one from the deck and if you cant use the card you pull, you still get to lay a card down in the middle instead of keeping the card and adding to your card total. Seems like you should be penalized more when you cant play a card, whereas with these rules you really arent punished much
Thank you so much for this *WONDERFUL* tutorial!
I just bought this game today thinking it was uno, i was mad but watchin this video make me wanna give it a try
I’d say that Uno and Dos both are really fun games, but Dos is just a bit more complicated. I prefer Dos because it’s Faster Pace and not as rage inducing though
👍 great video easy to understand
Nicely explained. 👍🏼👍🏼
tysm it REALLY helped !!
Glad it helped!
Thank you!! Your explanation is very easy to understand. 👍👍👍
Thank you so much. The instructions with the game were so confusing.
You're welcome!
