What was the trick the tomato sellers use and what days do they bring Tomatoes to the market?

They put a lot of paper and nylon underneath before pouring the tomatoes, that way, the basket looks full.

This was amazing to watch, this video is super detailed and helpful. Tomorrow I embark on this adventure, I have never been to a market but I feel the people I send are definitely cheating me, last basket of tomatoes I got was 48,500 so just imagine my surprise after watching your video and sweet potato for 800 😮 they buy for 4k for me. So thanks again, I am scared and excited at same time… should I buy a rain boot?

Hello Ibis, I am happy you found this helpful. Please don't be scared, if you are going to Mile 12 or any of the big markets, when you get there, just to be confident in your pricing, any amount you are told to buy something slash it in half to price it and go a little up (you may feel you are cheating them but a lot of times you are not, they sense when someone doesn't come to the market often and they exploit that).
You may also employ the services of Alabaru agree in price first o, so they don't shock you at the end of the day. The Alabarus know where to get these items cheap and you can confirm price with them before buying. They can even help you price.
Tomato has gone up actually for the year so I don't know what the price may be at now but I assure you that you will get it at the best price in Mile 12.
If you have a boot, you can go with it or go with a slippers that can be washed well even after it gets very dirty. I don't advice you wear those boots they rent out (if you insist on wearing it, please put on double nylon on your feet), people can get infected if someone who wore it has a feet infection.
Finally, this market is dirty, very dirty. I usually keep soap and water/or I use tap, outside the house so that once I come in I wash off well before getting into the house and once I get in I quickly bathe.
      I hope this helps.
