slight correction, Mid-Life Crustacean can still be legally bought on TH-cam(I own it there)and on iTunes(albeit only as part of a big and pricey "Origins" collection).

During your Walmart rant a lot of the prices you were comparing were blu ray to dvd. Blu ray is more expensive because it’s better quality, 1080p to 720p. 4kUHD is even better than both and pretty much the only way I buy physical media nowadays, but you need a dedicated 4k player or a ps5 or Xbox series X to play them

Tbh I never really thought that blu rays could be worth more then dvds or vise versa and I wasn't really noticing if a dvd was a blu ray since when it has a slipcase it usually covers the logo lol
Tho I still think a lot of my comparisons like the charlie brown dvds or hotel transylvania and Shrek are valid since those are normal dvds and no blu rays
Also I had no idea 9th gen consoles could use UltraHD dvds, honestly that might be what gets me to buy them since Ik how good those are

@@MaherandIbrahimsAvengers if you want to get into 4k blu rays I highly recommend older movies. Pulp fiction in 4k might be one of the best looking movies I’ve seen at home. Movies shot on film look much better as they are pure 4k scans compared to upscaling. All the Christopher Nolan movies released in 4k look fantastic of course.
