- The radical right-wing in Germany is getting stronger. This new German radical right is led by mostly educated young men. How can there be such a rise in radical right-wing in 2018 in Germany given its history? What does this radical right-wing movement fight for? The fear of migrants leads more and more Germans to make radical right-wing ideas commonplace. Is history repeating itself?
We are in 2018 and the Germans, feeling threatened by the arrival of migrants, are searching for solidarity and Heimat: the feeling of motherland. These are old concepts in a new jacket, laying a fertile ground for this new assertively operating ultra-right movement.

The driving forces behind the new radical right-wing movement are mostly young men with a university education. They think that during their studies only one story is told: that of the protest generation of 1968 and the left-liberals. With publishing companies, vlogs, café evenings, youth groups and a sophisticated social media policy, radical right-wing ideas blend into the public debate. In Austria, the movement to the right has translated into government participation of the right wing FPÖ; they provide five ministers for the current coalition with the Christian Democrats. And in Germany there is more open talk about stopping all immigrants by putting a fence around Germany.
Some Germans are forced to turn to Eastern Europe. For example to Bulgaria where a strict anti-migration policy is being implemented and where private command troops try to stop any migrants at the border. How does the Europe where they are in charge look like according to this radical right-wing vanguard?

Sure, there have been broader cultural trends to sweep through that were considered "new", but they were all inherently European and based on prior knowledge, trends, writings, culture, etc. Internal values are more difficult to provide for you as it takes a vast observation of historical writings and cultural output. External values are more obvious, from holiday ceremonies, to clothing, etc. One of the most simple observable phenomenons comes in the form of the artistic expression of Europeans; We see Ancient Greek architecture and art, Greek Revival (Or Classical) in Rome, Classical Revival, then Neo-Classicism. All that spans from At the VERY LEAST 900BC to the modern era.
And that's the only example I'm going to give you, I'm not going to argue about how culture is built on culture and why European cultures and ethnicities are worth protecting or preserving.
But I will tell you that there is 100% certainty that if you allow millions of people into come into X country or Y with a low birth rate, it's nothing more than ethnic replacement. Nothing like this has occurred in thousands of years of European history, and it WILL forever change Europe. And no, it's not "better". Despite the crap many of you love to push, diversity just for the sake of diversity isn't inherently better.

A gold-digger is someone who targets sexual and roman tic interests at rich individuals in hopes of getting access to that wealth.

Actually industrial food was created by Germany with the industrial revolution and then the fast food developed by USA, now we all consume it. My point is that I don´t think these guys are very european doing what they do. While I have a lot of mixed thoughts on the right/ left paradigm the reality is it is mostly due to gaps in the concious. People can assert a sense of pride but you can not demand it. For me it's about unanswered questions and the only answer I get that can fill in that gap is that humans will allways have strife with each other no matter what. Politics come down to personal gain and for that reson we should not assume that being of any political party is going to somehow free humanity. Humanity as we know it has always battled with nature and so why should politics be any differnt?

Finally, mixed people do end up on the right because they have to prove themselves to the society that they are as German, or even more German, than non-mixed Germans.

Tricky situation. I believe that some value seem almost lost and should be defended or brought back a tad.
But the big problem I see is that many of the "borders" in this political spectrum can be "seamless". You have very conservative or even moderate people who dislike certain trends and developments, then you have the extreme hardliners, to name two "poles". And then you have many levels or groups between those two.
I dislike radical left influences, too. But I don't want national socialists to run things, at the same time. That is my rough stance. Well said! there's plenty of value in "both" sides beliefs a balance of sorts, its just hard to get the right mix at times. one thing is for certain we need to ignore the extremist/radicals on both sides as they seem to have the loudest voice at times which can muddy the waters.

Global Direct Democracy sound literally like the worst political idea ever. Even moderately diverse countries are difficult to keep together, the whole world, ruled democratically, DIRECT democracy, when a ridiculously large amount of the worlds population is completely uneducated and have violently opposing religions and cultural traditions, even with modern technology, how could such a large area be kept together. Direct democracy only works with tiny populations that are relatively intelligent. I'm literally amazed that someone would advocate something so stupid.

I think it might be for a reason. That is possible... but thinking it through, I believe their public perception would not change by the mere change of their hairstyle. Someone fleeing to Europe from sub-Saharan Africa or North Africa for a better ECONOMIC life is NOT the same as a Yaziti or Christian fleeing persecution by radical Islamists. The vast majority of people coming to Europe are young males seeking more economic opportunities. Also, the people are reacting to the EU's open border policy. Without the open border policy and the large numbers of economic refugees, people would not be voting in large numbers for people who want stricter immigration rules. Europe and its cultures are worth defending.

Radical right and far right are two different things. From a leader of a party that calls themselves "radical": he said it means getting impactful stuff done in a fast pace. Trump would be considered radical. It is definitely a refreshing change from the usual "don't touch the obviously flawed system as you might make it worse" mentality. It has very little to do with being "far" on the political spectrum.
