D.O. smiles, you smile... It's infectious. Such a special soul. He opens more than 50% of EXO songs and his closers are brilliant too like Black Pearl. His R&B runs and riffs are renowned in the industry. SWEET LIES.
D.O. Is one of those male singers that got me into kpop with his voice. He does have a unique way of singing, it looks effortless and he looks like he’s in another world as you said. Funny enough he sang the song that he featured in with F(x), ‘Goodbye Summer’, which was also how I discovered him. And they did it justice with their version here.
Same he got me into EXO and never looked back :)
usually main vocalists kind of sound like main vocalists: you kind of feel the effort they put into making some incredibly difficult sounds, you know what I mean?
what amazes me about D.O is that he is one of the best vocalists in kpop, but the way he looks when singing makes you think that there is nothing easier in this world than singing. this is an amazing ability.

Im glad you reacted to Kyungsoo's LMJ service after Killing voice. Kyungsoo's parts got cut off alot in killing voice, the show didnt showcase his prowess as a main vocalist. Next you can check on his appearance on AKMU The Season sang rewrite the stars, fry's dream, aomebody and that's okay . Also you can check on Exo's acoustic performance from their concert. the stage director made that session after listening to Kyungsoo's voice while exo was rehearsing 😊

Yes!!! I kept thinking that. As a main singer, they should've curated the songs better to show him more, but I felt that they favored Chen and Baekhyun in detriment to the other members, especially D.O. I think it could have been more careful in the division of the songs and parts they showcased. It was unfortunate, even if the episode was still really good.

Since you enjoy the guitar playing as much as listening to DO's voice, you will love both his mini albums, but especially Si Fueras Mia! He speaks neither Spanish nor English but sings beautifully in both languages. EXO also sings in Japanese and Chinese.

I've seen a lot of reactions to Killing Voice that I didn't know about EXO and since D.O sings less there they didn't pay so much attention to him when his voice is incredible, plus he's the most agile of exo and his adlibs and runs are impressive...

Aside from being one of the best singer in Korea. D.O. is also known as a very talented actor. He's the best Idol-Actor right now and I think everyone agreed to that.

D.O. actually is also a singer who can just sing with everyone. In a couple of live performances you can actually see him matching/adjusting his voice to fit somebodyelse's voice even better.

haha, I liked that he admitted that no one can replace the growl part in “growl”, it is so true! he did really growl, you don’t really hear it in the studio version, but but when he sang it live it was 🤌✨
'Nonchalant, 'effortless and 'unbothered'
These words are always the things that many reactors describe him. D.O music is also simple and honest, just like him. He has no filter and doesn't bother to sugarcoat things haha. So the way he sings is kind of incredible to me, coz when I tried singing the part he was doing , it was difficult, I thought it was easy because his face doesn't change much when he sings 😂 many vocal coaches also pointed that out too. He sings comfortably and sincerely.

Thanks for the reaction. You speak very calmly too. We haven't quite figured out where D.O goes when he sings, but his voice is there just melting us and drawing us in. He makes is look like it's easy, like he doesn't have to be there, except we now know it's a voice honey trap.

I don't know EXO's music, but I liked this boy since I saw the Rewrite the Stars video, even though my favorite group is BTS (Seokjin fan), I will start looking for more content about D.O. He is very good.❤
Majority of exo yt reactions kyungsoo was the most mentioned one by the reactors as he have one of the most noticable and unique voice that you can't help but to get pulled by it. His voice is really addicting it just felt a little bit sad that the recent exo Killing Voice cut most of his killing parts in Exo that many people felt disappointed somehow b'coz he deserves so much better. But we can't deny that he still stood out regardless❤ I'm just happy tho that in his album promotion he was able to showcase his most anticipated vocal prowess esp with his duet with Suhyun (Rewrite The Stars) This cover really went viral2 and a lot of people were amazed by his amazing effortless high note and belts. You should give that one a try. It's really worth it.
Ps' Kyungsoo (D.O.) is known to be the effortless singer (He doesn't sing to show off, instead he sing b'coz he enjoyed and loves singing) 🥺 And you are right he is really special among all. He has this very unique way of singing and he can adjust his voice depending on the song he decided to sing. He is a very flexible and versatile singer ❤

Vocal Analysts over the years have analysed EXO D.O. with Baekhyun and Chen (because they are ranked the top 3 k-pop vocalists). He sings in this way because it is the most efficient way to sing. Which suits D.O.'s personality. Chen and Baekhyun put in the exaggerations because they are often given the high notes and D.O. the agile aspects. They often sing live with with energetic dance. Also, this is in English. D.O. sings more expressively I feel in Spanish. In terms of vowels in these different languages including Japanese, it is hard to notice he is Korean.

Even among the 3 main vocals of EXO (and arguably some of the best vocals in all of kpop history), his is my favorite because of his tone and color. I love Chen and Baekhyun as well, but for different reasons. Overall, DO’s sound suits my personal taste the best ❤

I honestly think D.O. Sings with that expressionless face for 2 reasons one he is 100% focused and in his mental safe space zone to make sure to calm his nerves as I know he gets nervous. 2 they don’t let him wear his glasses on live broadcasts and he has astigmatism which from personal experience contacts are a no go ( I can’t ware contacts to save my life it hurts too much. contacts were just not made for people with astigmatism no matter what any brand says). he can’t see for the life of him so I am guessing he focuses on something close to him to avoid his eyes watering which can make you look quite serious and even scary at times. It works that way for me.

The English version, the demo, is in her debut album "I Just Wanna") and D.O. are best friends. This song is very popular among idols. Btw f(x) has the best albums (by Billboard) in Kpop and one of the best female main vocalists in Kpop, LUNA (the 1st official winner of the King of Mask Singer Korea). The 1st experimental sounding Kpop group. Worth to react them if you are interested in 4th Gen. They are ahead of their time (2nd Gen). Mothers of Red Velvet and 4th Gen.
