I've seen a lot of reactions to Killing Voice that I didn't know about EXO and since D.O sings less there they didn't pay so much attention to him when his voice is incredible, plus he's the most agile of exo and his adlibs and runs are impressive...

Also you can check on Exo's acoustic performance from their concert. the stage director made that session after listening to Kyungsoo's voice while exo was rehearsing 😊
Yes!!! I kept thinking that. As a main singer, they should've curated the songs better to show him more, but I felt that they favored Chen and Baekhyun in detriment to the other members, especially D.O. I think it could have been more careful in the division of the songs and parts they showcased. It was unfortunate, even if the episode was still really good.
Other main vocalists are trying really hard, taking vocal trainings and all and then there's D.O, with no effort or whatsoever . pure perfection! Very humble as well.
Aside from being one of the best singer in Korea. D.O. is also known as a very talented actor. He's the best Idol-Actor right now and I think everyone agreed to that.

So the way he sings is kind of incredible to me, coz when I tried singing the part he was doing , it was difficult, I thought it was easy because his face doesn't change much when he sings 😂 many vocal coaches also pointed that out too. He sings comfortably and sincerely.
D.O. actually is also a singer who can just sing with everyone. In a couple of live performances you can actually see him matching/adjusting his voice to fit somebodyelse's voice even better.

Which suits D.O.'s personality. Chen and Baekhyun put in the exaggerations because they are often given the high notes and D.O. the agile aspects. They often sing live with with energetic dance. Also, this is in English. D.O. sings more expressively I feel in Spanish. In terms of vowels in these different languages including Japanese, it is hard to notice he is Korean.
I honestly think D.O. Sings with that expressionless face for 2 reasons one he is 100% focused and in his mental safe space zone to make sure to calm his nerves as I know he gets nervous. 2 they don’t let him wear his glasses on live broadcasts and he has astigmatism which from personal experience contacts are a no go ( I can’t ware contacts to save my life it hurts too much. contacts were just not made for people with astigmatism no matter what any brand says). he can’t see for the life of him so I am guessing he focuses on something close to him to avoid his eyes watering which can make you look quite serious and even scary at times. It works that way for me.
