I have been able to safely peel back my retro stickers. Look great. There is also a youtube video where someone uses a solution to remove them. But I have safely peeled them back.
Just watched your video. I actually like Wicket. I did when I was a kid. It's so nice to be able to own these figures again. Despite the sticker and detail been slightly flat I'm happy
New subscriber here, I was 4 when Star Wars came to the cinema so Kenner Star Wars figures really resonate with me, whilst I understand the hate for the worn effect on the cards, this is a great way to own carded Kenner
Interesting how they put Yakface on a Return of the Jedi card but as Mon Mothma was never part of the Kenner line that is the standout figure of this wave for me.
I have a feeling retro figures could start including a lot of different characters. After all, look at all the retro figures done for The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan, and Ashoka.
Great video. One thing you didn't mention is that the original Tusken Raider was called Sand People on it's card. The new retro figure is called Tusken Raider.
@@utbmystarwarscollection I hate that when I reply it’s always about something you didn’t say. You do a great job with your videos. Please don’t take me for a jerk who only tries to correct you. I’ll watch that in the future. Keep putting out Star Wars content. Love it!
@@marksmith9015 Do worry about that. There is still a lot of stuff I do not know. I appreciate when I get comments informing me about things I might have missed or did not know. Keep your comments coming. Thanks for writing.
From what i have heard regarding The new retro collection C3P0. It is slightly wider than the original 77 version as it is a scan of the original empire strikes back version C3P0 with removable limbs. This is what i have heard from other reviews of these figures.I have not got these yet. I cant see why the bubbles are so big compared to the first wave
I noticed that about the bubbles also. I don’t think any of the figures needed a bigger bubble. I had not heard about the scan of the ESB version of the figure. Thank you for the information, and thanks for watching.
Very cool you have the original cards! Great to see those. I enjoy the Retro line and will buy any they release. I take those Retro stickers off when I get a set. Good stuff!!
Retro Figures are great. They are doing them better as time goes.
Wicket was a favorite of mine as a kid.
Get that Fett Man.
I know, I need to pick him up. 😊
Your videos are always fun to watch. Happy Thanksgiving
Thanks! You too! And thank you for watching.

I still have not decided to peel them off or not yet, but it is good to hear that there is the possibility. Thanks for watching.

I like the character of Wicket also. I just thought the paint job could have been better. I do wish they would use smaller stickers.

Welcome to the channel! I think the worn edge look helps to avoid them being taken for carded original figures.
You can take the sticker off with Lighter Fluid. 😊.
I would be afraid of damaging the card.

Also, the original Ben Obiwan Kenobi came with two different colors of hair. White and Grey. I guess they just choose one to go with.
I did not know that. I wonder which of the two is the rarer one. Thanks for the info.

Again, love your videos. Only trying to share knowledge.
I'm having a blast looking at your videos. Have you ever had some of your items appraised ? You have some vintage and mint condition items!
Not yet! Maybe I should but I have not bothered with that yet.

I did catch that when I was editing the video. I was wondering if any viewers would catch that. Good job, and thanks for watching.

The Retro Boba Fett it's going for $25 on average on eBay
That is not too bad a price. To tell the truth, I thought they would be selling for more.

Apparently the limbs are actually removable, I assume it was done this way so they can repack him with bag accessory to be the empire version
i've seen something about a book of boba fett retro line
I took a quick look online and it appears you are correct. Thanks for the heads up on this.

I know many people do remove the sticker but I would be afraid to try it and possibly damage the card. Thanks for watching.
