I ordered a blue one, arrives one tues. It's the only Isham design I've liked. I really like that thinner blades are becoming more common, I use my knives pretty hard and have never had an issue, even on blades 1.5 mm thick.
When I looked at this I came across new Bestech's those I'm freaking excited about . Have you looked at them Wow ! The Fanga for $95 and the ascot are jus amazing looking . Bison looks great to and they did the kendo in Ti . I'm back to bestech fan boy on these . What's your opinion?
Did you do some work to it? I for the life of me ,can’t get it to fire with that tiny flipper. Maybe it has to do with hand size. Also, I really like the red and the blue colors. Very nice high lites.
Cool knife I'm on the fence on it so far i like the g10 color choices like orange and blue under the carbon fiber. The pocket clip choice is nice but honestly I liked the titanium because when it was in the pocket it looked exactly like a pen Clip but I'll be happy with this one as well.
Troy's EDC Solutions I agree the blue looks great. Also agree about clip. It’s titanium which can be anodized which I just seen done on a Wyvern. Made it blue which looks great
Great review. I like the structure of your reviews. You have been all over the Civvis from the start, which has been great. They seem to define the best of the $40-$80 blades. I have 3 and am amazed at the quality and value.
Thanks Bryan. Thin behind the edge, and a bent clip, for the Win! It will be interesting too, finding out just how hard this model's blade turns out to be. 👍🔪🍺😎
I agree with your pronunciation of the name. I just KNEW you would get the black one! I got the Black & Orange. LOVE the overall shape & quality of the whole knife at this price point. The liners are severely cut out, making the knife lighter for this type of design. Also, LOVE the Isham Logo...very cool. I had some issues, though. I have aggressively sanded down the flipper tab. It was sharp & needley. I have rough hands..but this was sharp and with the severe angle of the tab it cut into my finger. Also, I am not opening the knife with the blade triangle, ever. It is purely a design element for me. I relubed & reset détent slightly lighter because of the flipper tab issue. Also, the pocket clip screws should be flat beveled screws instead of the round heads. C’mon guys. Because of the overall shape, quality & price it’s a keeper for me....so it was worth the extra effort to clean up the problems that I think this knife clearly has, maybe it’s just me, though.
Got mine in black. Unfortunately I'm away on business and haven't got to see it yet but I have something to look forward to when I get home. I'm glad they didn't do colored liners. I have the backlash and statera and really like them but not a huge fan of the blue and gold liners.
Received mine just like this one in the video on Saturday March 30. Love the design fit and finish of this knife. It’s a beauty. That being said, I really wanted to like it, but alas I sent it back for refund today (Monday April 1). Did not like the flipper position or action, and the grip is short for my hands. I don’t feel too bad however as I replaced it with a long delayed purchase of a ZT0562CF Hinderer Slicer.
I love me some full flat grinds. Elijah might have some designs that are pure exercise and/or manufacturing prowess flagships, but most of the time they're more ergonomic than you'd think. The blade shape is unusual, reminds me of a fat Brown Servo. Where were all these fantastic knives 4 years ago when I was jumping back into knives? Heck, I remember when only fancy Italian production knives had smooth chamfering like that on the blades. Gorgeous.
Love my Wyvern! Unfortunately this isn't available in my area yet but I might be tempted to pick one of these up or an Aquila (I love the combination Spydieesque hole + flipper tab combo)
Great video. That’s even thinner behind the edge than the Neutron. I still haven’t brought a Civivi knife yet despite liking the looks of functionality of almost all of them.
Hey Brian, great review and great knife! I also wanted to say how much I love your lining up the pivots during size comparisons. I wish every reviewer did this!!
Mine came in yesterday and I love it. My first Civivi and I'm impressed by the quality. The fidget factor of this knife is super super high. The only knock is that I'm not a fan of the peel ply on any knife. This knife in higher quality materials would get me to reach deep into my pocket. The design is the best new design in a while IMO.
Boy, is it just me, or does that profile just look like it will be great for food prep? Main thing I look at is the blade-to-cutting-surface height relative to your fingers on the handle. Lots of blade to contact a cutting surface before your fingers "bottom out" on that cutting surface. What this makes me think is that the the Anthropos could be a "poor man's Spydiechef". Brian, any use as a food-prep tool?
@@MrAliaspostmortem Completely agree. BUT, "kitchen use", at least for me, can happen is places other than my well-equipped home kitchen. Camping, backpacking, on the road in an AirBnB that has crappy knives, at work where I'd like to do some basic food-prep for lunch, etc. I do look for a knife who's profile would lend itself to food prep. This looks like it has potential for that.
Sup Slicey. Lol GF of a bond villain. I really liked this one too. I liked it so much that I tried to get the first review up. My buddy was like nah. Already up bruh. Lol I do a little bit about it in my video. I almost picked up the black one. I grabbed the blue. Now I kinda wish I picked up the orange. I do like the knife though. Thanks for the video man.
I thought I had a request in with a retailer asking them to let me know when the Anthropos was released but I guess not, lol. Found out yesterday, but now every place I look has sold out. Guess I'll have to catch the next wave. Oh, nice review too Brian. Seems like the knife is going to everything I thought it would be.
I definitely have that issue with my Praxis. Very difficult to slide it all the way into my pocket without wiggling it around to get past the proud screw heads. It’s a problem with all of my jeans.
I have a few civivi. This Anthropos , and Wyvern are cheaply made. The Baklash and Statera. Are much better made knives. You know what I’m talking about.. Don’t cheap out.
you got it lightning quick! nice...got one on the way..
I ordered a blue one, arrives one tues. It's the only Isham design I've liked. I really like that thinner blades are becoming more common, I use my knives pretty hard and have never had an issue, even on blades 1.5 mm thick.
Usually not a huge fan of Isham designs but this one is really catching my eye! Really great looking knife! Thanks for sharing!
Good to see a review on this knife. I had to spring for this one. I like the Isham designs.
That maker's mark is great!
Great looking knife! CIVIVI does it again and again and again! 🐴

Diggin’ the Kendo Ti in the black with the black stonewash on the blade. NO ONE has reviewed that and it has been out for a while?????
Got one on the way thanks to your review. I love the flipper tab. Had to get it in orange.
Saw it earlier this week.
Best looking civivi so far....I think.
Clip is cool too.
Thx for the 👀 man👍🏻
Did you do some work to it? I for the life of me ,can’t get it to fire with that tiny flipper. Maybe it has to do with hand size. Also, I really like the red and the blue colors. Very nice high lites.
Great looker! Thanks for sharing.
Happy they did omit the gold and blue liners this time!
Nice review. Got the orange one. Pretty slick. EDC while on-duty LE. Comfortable in class A or BDU pant.

I wouldn't mind if they slowed down a bit, though. Hard to keep up!
How would you compare the spyderco para 3 LW with this one? I found the Damasscas with wooden handle version attractive.
Thanks Bryan.
Thin behind the edge, and a bent clip, for the Win!
It will be interesting too, finding out just how hard this model's blade turns out to be.
👍🔪🍺😎
I was torn on which color to get. I settled on the blue. I really like the design. It's a great slicer. My 4th CIVIVI, and probably not the last.
Mine is coming tomorrow, so excited!
Pretty dam solid knife. Deep clip, slicey blade, no lanyard hole. Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

Anthropos is Greek for human, it's from an expression in the Bible that translates to son of man. Also pretty cool knife! That is all. lol
Also the tone is on the first A

Awesome looking blade and great performer. That thickness behind the edge is comparable to traditional slipjoints.

Great looking knife! Is the carbon fiber layer textured or just flat?
Mine arrives today! Great review as always man!
Great video. I saw pictures on IG yesterday and was hoping someone would get a review out fast👍
Damn. Looks great... i might need one. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
I CANT WAIT TO GET A BLUE ONE, Good Stuff Brian! 👍🏻
Very interested in this and even their new pen...
I'll fix this for ya: "People get all wound up about CF over G10..." * then they go buy Spyderco knives with CF over G10 for $175 and more.*
Cheers

Usable blade shape. Enjoyed your review.
Wow I really like that Brian. Thanks for the video. I'll have to get one now. The struggle is real! Lol A.T. B.
Very cool knife for the price. I bet Dollars to Doughnuts they come out with a souped up titanium version in The WE Platform. ✌
Always wanted a blade by Isham and Civivi
Glad I am always late to the party
(Admission costs less)
Just ordered!
Hey Brian, great review and great knife! I also wanted to say how much I love your lining up the pivots during size comparisons. I wish every reviewer did this!!
Great looking knife
Slicey Dicey, if you could pick one, elementum or anthropos

Love the pocket clip as well. The milled looked way off on the others.
Knice knife, but I'd rather have it sans the CF laminate/peel ply.
Yah, would rather have FRN or G10
@@sharpsvilleBill G10, Micarta or even reall solid CF. Just not the laminate. It cheapens up any knife it's on in to me.
The design reminds me of the Kizer Kesmec which is also at a similar price point.
I am so getting this knife
Nice-looking knife, as I would expect.
I though you might like this one and looks like I was right. Can't beat that slicey blade for the money.

... it's a small folding knife. They are never, ever good for kitchen use. Some are less hopeless, that's all.

Looks like it would be pretty nice as a food prep knife with all that belly and how your fingers are higher than the blade like a spydiechef

i just receive mine but the send me the cocoba one instead of black g10 but the action is not as spectacular than the little fiend one
Does this come in damascus
Man, if they made this design under the WE name with M390 and a contoured Ti/CF bolster-lock handle, similar to the WE Deacon... 🤤🤤🤤
I like the looks of it but think it is kinda pricey for what it is a great review like always.
The pocket clip is partial credit deep carry. The screws stick out too much and make it hard to slide into the pocket all the way.
I haven't had a problem with it regular Levi's.
@@SliceyDicey I've had problems with my regular pants and thinner khakis.
I definitely have that issue with my Praxis. Very difficult to slide it all the way into my pocket without wiggling it around to get past the proud screw heads. It’s a problem with all of my jeans.
Brian, Come to the NRA National Convention in In Indy last week of April!!
I'll be in Germany.
liner have a better finition than the spyderco opus i have
I like the handle and that they went without the colored liners and hardware, not a fan of the blade profile, D2 fan.
Cool.
Non-colored liners 👏👏👏
Wow you lucky dog you!!!
This one didnt do it for me the blade was to big and the color choices a tan or od green would be great
Too expensive for what you get.......Thanks, Furbs

Huh??? I had the Baklash, Statera and this side by side side by side and very much disagree.
D2 no thanks :(
Why not just do real carbon fiber?
It's more expensive.
