How To Make A Basic Plane - Fuselage & Nose

- In this video I start a new series on building a basic plane using new building techniques. I explain how to build the fuselage.

I've received several comments asking me how to duplicate the fuselages.
If you are on a computer, right click and drag the fuselage you want to duplicated. This will create an identical copy as seen at 7:43.
If you are on a mobile device, there isn't a way I am aware of, unfortunately. I can, however, think of two ways to mimic duplication.
1. Click "add section" to the fuselage you want to duplicate and manually change the parameters to make it the same as the original.
2. Mirror the fuselage to the other side of the aircraft.

Probably because I'm a very small TH-camr who doesn't really know graphic design (and because I dedicate almost all of my time to making things in SimplePlanes instead of overediting things with 2843204 memes and sound effects).

I actually do have plans to make a follow up tutorial where I explain how to make windows as well as some other small details, but that will likely be in at least a few months.

Can u show us how to build the floor inside the cockpit
This can be done very easily with fuselages. Make a flat fuselage (the floor) in your main fuselage, and add more segments to the front, changing the width each time to make it taper in.

I'm assuming you mean when I right-click and duplicate a fuselage. There is no mobile equivalent, however you can click "add section", remove this new section, and change some values so it is the same as the original fuselage.

I've explained this to several other viewers, right click and drag. If you are on mobile, then look at the replies on other comments.

What "base" are you referring to?

@@qVoid-exity It's a normal fuselage that I resized to be a large block.
how you delete the cockpit tho
I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean deleting the default cockpit part, I've simply used another cockpit part, the flight computer.
You delete the cockpit by bringing in a new part from cockpit basic (this can be any of those items, but I would use a flight computer.) Open the gear, and click set main.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. If you want to make a subassembly of the build, find the flight computer, find the part the flight computer is attached to, and remove that part. The entire build will detach from the flight computer and you can drag it to the subassemblies menu.
Tutorial on windows?
Possibly, in the future. I also have plans to make a simple wing tutorial to go along with this, as well as a cockpit tutorial (suited for airliners).
