RE: Spec Ops: The Line is the best of your pickups. I don't normally play games for the story but the story in this one is an absolute banger and transforms what, in essence, is a fairly generic 3rd person cover shooter no where near the technical quality of Gears of War into something, that among the people who played through it is rather special, but I'll give no spoilers because you have to play this with no idea of it first. If it was delisted for music rights that will be because the title screen features Jimmy Hendrix's most controversial recording of the Star Spangled Banner that Jimmy performed as a protest to the Vietnam war. Play it, it will stay with you. Annoyingly within days of Steam delisting the game the price shot up, it was 3 or 4 Quid up to that point on 360. Luckily I had received a free copy from Steam a few years earlier, when I booted it up and played it I felt that I had played something different, it was and remains one of the biggest surprises I've had in gaming, and I go back to when Space Invaders was still modern.
Great pickups as always. Love Fifa street 3. Very arcadey. Gies well with it's exaggerated art style. Love spec ops the line. One of the best and very memorable stories ever told in a shooter. One of those you never forget games. Perfect dark zero is definitely a very marmite game very 5050. I love it myself. It was one of the launch titles and it was one of the reasons I wanted the Xbox 360
thankyou!! i cant believe you've never been on a train thats insane to me i dont even think i can count the sheer amount of trains i've been on over the years
I do remember that tube station with all those steps, evidently the colour scheme hasn't changed, since I was on a pub crawl, quite a few years ago. Be great, if you haven't already done so, name which CEX stores you got footage at, I do collect video games, I have visited quite a few CEX stores, around the country, but not many in London. well none yet, in London, tbh! I can get to Kings X in London, via the fast train, from my local train station in 22-mins, so why i haven't already taken time out of my day, to do all this, IDK. Really enjoyed the video, thanks to you, and the other person as you seemingly refer to as an 'idiot'? Been playing the N64, Perfect Dark, recently. via the Nintendo 64 MATURE, virtual console, really great game. Imo. Yeah I recently ordered, via CEX Opoona for Wii, my order got cancelled, It returned to stock, a week later, £3 more at £38.
Well Emily great shopping trip train was cool shops ok your right cex some are a mess but. If you get your hand a game you want it good thanks for lovely day nice see on your travels you do a good joboh and that steel book is cool to look at❤❤ take careas always till next time Emily thanks
Once at a local GameStop here, I was buying a used game and the employee told me that he was going to sell me the game in a generic black case cause it costs him 5 dollars every time to get a new one. Then I told him if I could at least get the game manual with the game and told me that he would have to charge me an extra 5 dollars for it, so I just left. What an ass huh? lol.
Wow, so many demo discs from the Official Playstation (1) Magazine; I wonder if there were demo discs from between issue 100 and 107 as these are extremely rare and sought after. BTW, did you go to the first CEX ever in Rathbone place? Love these long pickup videos!
wish i knew about those rare and sought after demo discs now but its too late lmao. i did indeed go to the rathbone place CEX it was actually the second CEX i went too in this video :))
Usually they put those games on the store front because they have been behind the counter for a long time, they just need to shift stock till something better comes in and replaces it behind the counter and claiming it's not rare is very truth, the term rare is very overused and Deadpool isn't rare nor are any of those spider man games are either, cex have potentially taken in thousands of copies of them, they have only just recently become desirable and that they take in these games at less then half of the price shown, the only risk is the case being stolen but tbh I feel if you are willing to spend 50+ on an older gen game you really shouldn't be buying from cex anyway.
