I was thinking the exact same thing... that was until I took a closer look at the trailer. It looks like his suit is different and I like the changes that were made so much more. But even though I plan to hold off, this figure is really cool. Hot Toys did an amazing job.

I wanted this the moment I saw him on screen. And then after a while I talked myself out of it. But after looking at him more and seeing the reviews I have to have him. He just too good.
Cut the check! This is insane! The details are really great. The suit with different material to make it up give a lot of interest and just makes it better! There are so many things that make this crazy good! Paint and the head sculpt is perfect! The only thing i didn’t like was the unpainted joint on the wings. I think I would have someone paint the joint. As far as articulation I think it’s good enough. You have a lot of room to do the poses you did in this video. And, when it comes to poses, you always come through with some great ones. The one with him looking like he about to fly with the shield and Red Falcon is my favorite! Super great video! Wow, I try to be conservative when I use the word perfect but lately I find myself using that word more frequently. They hit a home run here! Then they included just the right amount of Accessories! Weighting the stand to be able to use the same as the rest they have been using was extremely smart. I am very happy they did him right!

Looking forward to the new WW84 review as well, particularly the comparisons with the previous versions. This new one looks incredible so seeing the older ones side by side will be interesting to see. 😁

Beautiful figure, but not a priority for me at this point. If it had released right after the show, I probably would have grabbed it right away, but 20 months later not so much.
Excellent review Justin! Honestly the show really disappointed me but I can't deny this is one of the best marvel movie/show costume designs and this figure is beautiful
Real shame about those ugly unpainted parts on the wings, they could've at least made them a more metallic plastic. That said, the articulation and detail are very well done, as is the figure itself. It looks basically nearly spot on to the show.
Figure looks incredible! I’m hoping he’ll have a more tactical looking suit in the future or at least a 2.0 with seamless arms when he was falcon. This outfit was a little too spangly for me - same way I felt about Steve’s suit in the first Avengers.
I’m not satisfied a few points of inaccuracies in his chest area. The line of his center, the position of silver shoulder part and the color of collar area. I know I’m such a jerk. These are very minor nitpick and I really shouldn’t bitching about it. But once I saw these problems, I really can’t unsee it for the lest of my life. But other than that, looks absolutely phenomenal. Head sculpt, articulate wings, brand new shield… I’m already pretty sure this piece is gonna be the best Hot Toys figure in 2023, so cool👏

Maybe but those wings are a lot thinner so hiding a bunch of joints wouldn't have worked
