The Dark Side Of The Moon is a multi national supergroup, consisting of vocalist Melissa Bonny (from the symphonic metal band Ad Infinitum) guitarist Hans Platz (from the medival metal band Feuerschwanz), harpist Jenny Diehl (one of Feuerschwanz dancers/ stage & video performers, she was guest musician with her harp on a few of their songs) and drummer Morten Løwe Sørensen (from the melodic death metal/ symphonic metalcore band Amaranthe). On live shows they get supported by Ad Infinitum's bassist Korbinian 'Korbi' Benedict. Their main (but not sole) focus is on metal covers of media related songs (movies, tv shows, games). The original version of Legends Never Die (by the US pop-rock band Against The Current) was the theme song for the 2017 League of Legends World championship. Other releases are: Jenny of Oldstones (Game of Thrones cover, besides being sung by a character in one episode, there is an end credits/ single version by the British indie-rock band Florence + the Machine), May It Be feat. Charlotte Wessels (former lead singer of the Dutch symphonic metal band Delain) (Lord of the Rings cover, original version by Irish new age singer/ songwriter Enya), Double Trouble/ Lumos feat. Rusanda Panfili (classical violinist from the Hans Zimmer live show orchestra) (Harry Potter cover), The Gates of Time (original), New Horizons feat. Fabienne Erni (from the melodic death metal/ folk metal band Eluveitie) (original), First Light feat. Rusanda Panfili (original).

If you liked Melissa Bonny, then you should definitely give Ad Infinitum a listen. Actually, it doesn't matter which song from the three albums - there isn't really a bad one. Unstoppable, From the Ashes, Animals, Somewhere Better, Inferno, Seth, Marching on Versailles and all the others. 🤘🦄🤘
