Thanks for the useful update WhiteBusFamily. Wow a lot of work done to repair the damage. Good to see they shaved the mountains back a decent amount to minimise future landslide interruptions.
Very cool, as a truck driver I saw it regularly from the cab of my truck, but this is great. I did get sent up to pick up a customer when the roads weren't open at night, it was an eerie feeling being the only vehicle on SH1 at night.
Did these roads last week, twice, wat a privilege,so much work done, big money I bet, super investment I say, That rock catcher ,cage ,road. protector, great design, workmanship.South island roads are just cooler than the north, nice long straight s,good surfaces, linders pass, Arthur s pass, partner,2youngest kids, holiday in Queenstown, top people 2
Before this earthquake occurred, the New Zealand media would keep ranting on about us having The Big One, aka, a very large earthquake. It was like a fear mongering tactic to keep people frightened that a large earthquake was on it's way,(but they could not say when). Everyone knows it's a good idea to be prepared for any disaster but our newspapers, etc would be going on about it ad nauseum. It seems that once this one was over, and the death toll was only 2, they didn't seem satisfied.
Incredible..Stunning..The music fits perfect!!!
Thank you so much.

Clementine when is your documentary on the Tuhoe coming out?
About another month or two, it has been delayed a little to get this Kaikoura one out.
Clementine fair enough, I'm really looking forward to it. I feel that there is more to the story.
When it is released, we will be letting everyone know on here. Thank you for your interest.
