"I have no doubt that he says this sincerely, and we will support it” he said.

As a Ukrainian American who is a trump supporter I would like to give caution to other Americans who see Putin as a great leader of his country. Americans never quite really understood how Russians operate. Putin, like many russians, is the type of a guy who respects someone for their willingness to be extreme. He respects Trump because Trump gave the leader of the taliban a satellite picture of his house. Someone like Biden would never do something so bold. That being said.... Putin is one of the greatest threats to independence. Ukraine has its own declaration of independence from russia. It would be like if the UK invaded the US. Any self respecting conservative American would support Ukraine from a tyrannical government annexing land.

Putting your trust in trump will only shift America from it's core ideals of democracy and the heart of western civilisation towards a new proto-isolationist state which only lead to the great depression and WWII.

What many fail to realise is that Trump was the reason Ukraine was NOT invaded much earlier than it was. For those with short memories (like Biden) Russia began the civil war in the Donbass regions by using some troops and weapons etc in 2014 while Obama was President and had a deal with Putin (explains why USA did little to stop Putin in 2014).
Trump got elected in 2016 and very shortly afterwards the fighting stopped as UNHRC officials can testify.
Biden became President in 2020 and shortly afterward the Taliban started Attacking again because USA had not withdrawn within the timeframe. The way the final exit occurred allowed Putin to amass troops/tanks etc and still USA did NOTHING to stop the impending invasion.
Had Trump still been President in 2020 the Taliban fiasco would not have happened nor would the invasion of Ukraine. As in 2014 Biden ensured a war began on his watch as most Democrat Presidents have done since WW2.

This question coming up is about the way to peace. Of course, it's speculations and opinions. I believe Trump is better suited for that discussion than our current president. I just don't know how it would end. I might be wrong, but isn't the territory under Russian occupation basically annexed..Would Ukraine get their land back, or would the land just have a new border? It might be a stupid question. I just don't think Putin and his government would just shrink away at the cost of what went into the war. Unless Trump has an offer that Putin couldn't refuse, I don't see Ukraine getting what Russia has taken thus far.
