Penwood White Oaks, Dead and Down

35 White Oak trees weakened to the point of death this year at Penwood due mostly to infestation of the lowly gypsy moth caterpillars. Sure hated to loose these majestic trees. It seems wrong that an insect can take them out so easily. Harvesting for firewood and saw logs is in order.
