Seeing this as a St. Pauli fan makes me so happy, can't describe it in words really.
Having so many people from other countries support a "small" club from Germany is unreal.
Greetings from Hamburg!
Had the privilege of visiting Hamburg and attending a St Pauli match several years ago. I was treated with great kindness and enjoyed a few beers with the fans - maybe my Celtic tee shirt and scarf helped a little bit 😂
Speechless… ❤ I always loved Scotland and the Scots and I never knew why. I‘m starting to understand … 🥰
St. Pauli fans were fantastic! Just like most German clubs, the fans know how to have good time, be respectful, but super passionate and 100% invested in their clubs. And of course, not just on what happens if the pitch, but because of 50+1, what happens off it as well.
The Scottish st Pauli fans where not however did u see the state of the Aldi next to EEP after the Glaswegians had left?
i was at a hibs u20s vs dortmund u20s at easter road, and there was only like 5 dortmund fans and they were incredibly passionate, you could hear them anywhere, got to love them
You don't know anything. You watch one TH-cam video and have never experienced how bad st. Pauli fans are and how they disrespect away days in Germany.
St Pauli women played Clapton Community FC the other day too.
You definitely need to do a video about them and The Old Spotted Dog Ground, the oldest in London.
A few years ago I saw St. Pauli when they were away at Arminia Bielefeld their fans were magnificent, never stopped singing. They are one of best fans I’ve ever encountered in my 30+ years of football travels. I’m not surprised in the slightest they are loved by so many people.
Lovely too meet you again Sam hope to see you again at East End Park ⚽
Did you know the Richard Jobson of The Skids is a big St Pauli fan and he’s originally from Dunfermline, maybe he played a part in arranging the game. Keep up the good work!
I think you'll find Richard Jobson came from Ballingry and had no part in arranging this. Thomas Meggle, one of the investors in the Pars has strong links to St. Pauli.
If there was ever a game that Footy Adventures needed to be at, this was it 👏
Thank U for your intrepid reporting bringing football’s ⚽️ extraordinary stories. ❤
Such a joy to watch... top-class football vlogging!
Thanks for having me on the video again Sam!! Legend 🙌
That would of been an amazing game to go to, Love your interviews with everyday fans and the random stadiums you go to
Enjoyed the video as always Sam. Enjoyed your coverage of trophy day last time you visited East End Park. Keep up the good content ⚽️🏁
Thanks for the video, as an Auld Fifer it is good to see Dunfermline bussing.
Excellent content as always pal keep it up. Atb Wullie ✊🏻🏴
The only team that beat Dunfermline in league 1 were the Mo ((Montrose FC) the last game we played we got beat 3-1 at home (Mo) but it was still the best game I’ve seen (apart fromScotland games) greetings to the Dunfermline fans, I enjoyed our games when you visited our lower league 👍🏴
A massive German club ?????????
Do me a favour 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Buzzing I finally met you yesterday pal! Keep it going 💪
Great to meet you mate great vids
Great to see you donating to the refugee charity mate. There is far too much hatred towards refugees and immigrants in this country and a lot of it stems from the stance, policies and language used by our own so called government. Fair play to you.
There's to much hatred against people who want to send them all home. Refugees 😂 who you try a kid, they are immigrants, whether economic or illegal, we got far to many. They have to go back
St Pauli should play my team Celtic as we have similar morals!
@flaw3dgenius222 Name the values please, and I will counter name them with one word pal.
St. Pauli & Celtic ultras have an official friendship together. That's why there were Celtic fans in the St. Pauli end.
St Pauli are one of my favourites ever as well as Dunfermline and they are a cool team of course to watch who are still playing in the German Bundesliga 2 which I am also watch, good friends!!!A great friendly match of course and long lives respectively to both St Pauli and Dunfermline but a shock victory by the away side and congratulations to them for the victory but hard luck for the home side, good friends!!!:-D
It would have been a shock if the Pars had won. Have you not seen any of the Bundesliga 2?
you seem to follow the St Pauli team, do you know if Nikola Vasilj will be the starting goalkeeper for the next season 23/24?
Because there it was the goalkeeper replacing Sascha Burchert, right?
Thank you for your answer
That Bride is the icing on the cake! What a fantastic day!
Another great video,..new season soon, happy days🙂
Got toget back to Germany not seen ST. pauli since 2018 always great time over there
Hope you enjoyed your trip to East End Park! Happy Saturday!👍
I'm a Man Utd fan through and through but growing up in Northern Ireland and many supporting Rangers and Celtic, Not for me that, I took an interest in Dunfermline.
Only ever seen them once, losing to Celtic at Hampden in a League Cup Final but want to get to East End Park for a game soon.
Nice video Sam. Not much of an off season for the players this year.
80% of people in the Pauli end that turned up were U.K based. After the game having a debate with a Pars fan, he reckons on that showing St Pauli would be top 2 if they played in the SPL. I respectfully disagreed, due to his very high opinion of his Dunfermline side, which most SPL clubs would hammer too.
I reckon we could have got 2nd spot in the SPL last season. That's been our best in a decade or so though, there's seasons where we'd have struggled to survive.
@@arejaycee5704 He was a bit deluded. It was head shaking stuff listening to him.
great video..well done Sam!!
So many triggered, whiney Rangers fans in the comments. 😂😂😂😂😂
Nice one Sam., great vid.
Only without German fans, but half the guest block is full of Celtic fans, the other half comes from the UK. Wow.
Welcome St Pauli, I see you have fans from all over UK as well which is great.
The weegie die hard st Pauli fan doesn't even know one of St Paulis biggest legends in Tomas Meggle 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 played, managed and sporting director and now a part owner of Dunfermline, just a light connection....
That's exactly what I was thinking, there's also a fair few posts on here about Meggle that understate his involvement with St. Pauli.
Magnificent video
Sam you are a lot smaller than I thought you were. 😂 my son got a pic with you and a was too star stuck 😂😂😂 you walked passed us at full time. Keep up the Amazing work of promoting our game
Dinnae fesh pal, the weather in Hamburg😊 is generally mingen as well.
Make a vlog at the Millerntor☠☠❤
Was at a soul weekender in Hamburg run by st Pauli fans, good time had by all.
Can't believe you didn't get an interview with the Bolton cockney Dapo Afolayan ! number 17 for St Pauli......great videos though, keep 'em coming.
I get that Meggle owns us now but no pars fans give a shite about this and the stadium attendance reflects that. Half the away support are Celtic fans..
To see a big club like St.Pauli 🇩🇪 playing at a Scottish Championship side like Dunfermline is brilliant to watch! Definitely a glamour friendly for them and good for Scottish football to see sides like that come over here! 🏴
@@Darwizzy_Shorts9lads had a pitch invasion to celebrate promotion then 10 minutes later they stayed down😂
Nice vid
Great fixtures!
I'll say one thing for St.Pauli: they plain in the appropriate colour.
Fantastic this! Season 23-24 is here! Will you be doing any Scottish League Cup group games?
St. Pauli Alemanha, São Paulo Brasil meus times 👏👏
Nice vids
quite like Dunfermline, went to see them play peterhead in 2014 on ryder cup weekend, was a mad crazy game with red cards all over the shop
You should come back to Hamburg to watch an actual game.
I am sure you will love it!
O nome do St. Pauli é parecido com o nome do meu time aqui do Brasil, por isso tem a minha torcida 💪💪
@mariavvangogh sim, sim, a intenção era mostra o quanto é parecido o pronúncia mesmo
Forza st Pauli 🏴 ☠️ 🇮🇪
Hamburgians when it's Hamburgers. What a missed opportunity 😂
Good to meet you last night. See you up the candy again soon
WEIRD FRIENDLY 🚜🚜🚜🚜🔵⚪️⚫️ GREAT VIDEO AGAIN
Not really weird. Dunfermlines Director of football Thomas Meggle was a player, manager and director of football at St Pauli.
Thank's for the Video!
Thank's for the Support!
Thank's for the Love!
FCSP 🤎🤍 Celtic 💚🤍
Brownings of Killie a proper steak bridie👌🏼🍀
Hi Sam, did St Pauli bring a full strength squad?
@@martenkats6915no they did not, for example their nr1 goalie was not there nor was Jackson Irvine and other players that went to national teams, besides that they played both halves with a mix of their first team and youngsters from the u23
Guy in orange brainwashing his laddie, "other certain people, politics" 😂
Scary isn’t it. The kid doesn’t have a fucking clue why he supports them or what he’s talking about just that he’s supposed to think that.
Boy supports same team as his da!Shock horror!!😮
It’ll never catch on!
If you want to see brainwashing have a look at weans being dragged along to orange walks or being taught to hate people because of their religion … any opinion on that?🤔
@@mharixx Oh, so that's why you think it's scary, because their not your ideals. Got it.
Living in east yorks st pauli fan. Does anyone know how i get in touch with the yorks st pauli supporters. Cheers
👍
Excellent coverage as always. It’s a shame St. Pauli didn’t play Celtic. And it’s odd they came so early in the summer and only for one match, but good for Dunfermline for hosting such a famous club.
St Pauli 💪
Come on St. Pauli!!!
I think I know the guy with the beard that you interviewed, Richard from Hereford?
Hail hail
10:37 everything that wrong with Scottish football
Why are they waiving the Vatican flag? Wouldn't think that would line up with the St Pauli's support for LGBT rights. Can someone explain?
What human rights do trans people not have out of curiosity?
German fans 🤣🤣 bunch of daft celtic fans more like.
@@SpindacreI know it's a hard concept for a EPL, ohh wait, your team just got relegated so EFL, supporter, but you can do both
I was there.
Change the name of the video to Celtic fans come to Dunfermline
Dunfermline are owned by a German consortium one of who is a St Pauli fan.
Dunfermline have German investors, one of whom played for St. Pauli then went on to be their head coach and then became sporting director.
Welcome back Sam. I love St Pauli's Anti-Racist tradition. Great support from the St Pauli fans as usual. My son, like me is Liverpool, but when he lived in Germany, he followed St Pauli. Had the shirts and all. On the playing side St Pauli are a bit of a yoyo side; but they are about more than just the football.
It's a side you either love or hate. No matter how you stand politically, they always have amazing support. However, I live in Germany and support Würzburger Kickers. I was very disappointed when I went back in 2020 in 2. Bundesliga. I think a lot of their fans now are snobby middle-class kids acting edgy, and no longer the original rebellious left-wing supporters. They seem to have been outnumbered.
Dynamo Dresden, Hansa Rostock, Kaiserslautern etc. are some teams outside 1. Bundesliga which in my opinion have way better supporters
@@deinemutter2965 Exactly! The fans of the teams you named are true football fans (and not political activists) 👍🏻
Coffee stop in Crossford to start...
Aberdeen fc 🤝 BFC Dynamo
🏴 🇩🇪
hope Footy Adventures can go along to either Preston or Charlton v the Dandies 🙂
@@pauldonaldson6067 Aye doon to Charlton wid be good. We'll probably take a good few hundred to London, plus there's a big Aiberdeen support there anyway.
One of the worst development recently in football has been the emergence of these hipster clubs, I'm a Celtic fan and have been to St Pauli and indeed was a great atmosphere but can't handle the political bullshit they spout
I've got to say pal, when it comes to spouting political garbage at football Celtic have got to be up there.
You are an uneducated Celtic fan. Educate yourself before you sound like the worst of a Rangers fan, HH
Football was always connected to politics, Celtic is a good example of that.

I can understand
what the father & son where saying about falling out of love with football in the U.K. I often feel like that myself.
Personally I feel in U.K. there is now a massive discount between clubs & fans unfortunately.
I am very , very dissolutioned with Scottish club football & that has been growing
& growing for many seasons now & I would say I am honestly at the point whare out with our National mens team I just dont a actually care about
or domestic football in
Scotland any longer.
I have seen players wages increase comparatively speaking in Scottish terms but
I feel the standard of players actually playing in Scotland is getting worse & worse at all levels.
At the top end of the game
there is most definitely a lack of goals for me it's just not value for money now.
Outside of the National mens team I dont expect to watch any games from Scottish football at all.
I watch plenty of football still but I would say now I am more a fan of the game than any particular club now I dont
have that same level of passion as I once had about the game.
For me it's far to much all about money now not about what clubs represent or the fans they are ment to be playing for on the pitch.
If I had a season ticket it would be for ether
Glentoran or Ajax.
In terms of
The Premier League
I am a Chelsea fan but if someone gave me a season ticket now I would hand on heart turn it down now because I honestly dont feel like I can relate to anything about the club now.
Keep Safe Sam.
Cost is an issue Some games at Raith this season will be £24/£25 For a Championship game thats too much and you'll never attract the floating fan for those prices.
You should come back to Hamburg to watch an actual game
pre season already
Football should be free of politics and religion. St Pauli seem to have such a strong political stance(manifesto),that it is possibly more exclusive than inclusive, that’s why politics should be kept out of football.
You want to check out union Berlin then sam. Much better team, story etc etc etc than most in Germany
Here in Ireland there’s a lot of support for st Pauli
Thats where they should all be playing. Where they belong and sing for their "freedom".
Well that's sad but makes sense with your lefty loony politics that are ruining Ireland.
St. Pauli🤎🤍
St.Pauli ist die einzigste Möglichkeit ❤️Hamburg ist braun weiß 🏴☠️
FSP Hamburg no-1 🔵⚪⚫
We’re yer banner gone
The Glasgow Rangers V Hamburg, that will be some day, lost off "fans zone"🏴🇬🇧🏴🇩🇪
St Pauli and Celtic 💚
'Dunfermline bhoys' banner, how embarrassing 🤣
Even as a HSV supporter I have to admit that St. Pauli has the best fan community I know. The whole culture in and around the club is just exemplary
