    What a wonderful video. I visited Halifax in February 2016 and I loved the city. I was surprised at the mild temperatures and lack of snow, but apparently you guys got inundated shortly after I left. I stayed in both the Lord Nelson and Waverly Inns, and I loved them both, but especially loved the Waverly. There is so much history and character in Halifax, and I especially liked Barrington Street and the downtown area. I am glad there are no skyscrapers in Halifax. I definitely want to come back again, and seeing this video makes my heart yearn even stronger for another visit.

      This is my very first time actually watching this certain vid...👁️👁️
      ...And...
      I am really so very SURPRISED AND SHOCKED that it is timelapsed instead of the normal speed that a vid should be...😳😳
      Which means that for us that are getting DIZZY actually watching this vid...😳💫🤢
      We have to go to the settings and slow down the vid for ourselves...🤔
      Which I THINK would somehow RUIN the quality of the vid itself...😳
      Gee whiz!!😳

    There should be an underground tunnel connecting Veterans Memorial Highway and Circumferential Highway.

    Yassine, that is a toll booth... People can get what is called a MacPass for the two bridges the span the harbor in Halifax. It is a transponder that is attached to your inside window. You can add money on this through an account when needed or have it done automatically when the account gets low. You pay $0.70 going through the toll with the pass. If you do not have a pass it cost $1.00. With a pass, you drive slow through the toll booth and it reads your transponder and lifts the gate. When paying in cash, you have to slow right now and throw money into a "net". When you placed enough money you can proceed through and the gate is lifted.
    NOTE: It costs more for semi trucks to go though, which can only used the other bridge not seen in the video due to weight restrictions.

    Halifax needs some skyscrapers, these height restrictions are riduclous

    • @liamcarroll5014
      @liamcarroll5014 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, there is zero room on the peninsula and other cities managed to keep their historic feel whilst having skyscrapers. C'mon guys, they as long as they don't block the harbor view I don't see the problem with them.

    I wanted to make kind of an historical archive so that people in the future can see what NS looked like however many years ago. I also like to share our province with people who have left or would just like to see what it looks like normally. Lots of my subscribers are people who grew up here and like to see what home looks like today. Thanks for subbing, watching, and commenting :D

    For those when watching this vid are getting quite dizzy...😳💫🤢
    Here is 1 hell of a great tip...😁
    Slow down the speed of this vid to 0.25 ...😁
    This way, the speed of this vid is somewhat of a *normal speed*!!...😁
    ...And...
    In the process, you certainly will NOT even get dizzy😳💫🤢 whatsoever at all!!😁

    • @joshlawrence4512
      @joshlawrence4512 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      ....... who asks a question like that? There are good food places every where but I've never seen little restaurants that become country wide. Or massive chain restaurants I'd ever say are above those. Good eats are one off places they literally are different everywhere. If ya want good food ideas differentiate by province.

    No, I don't think that it is. That's more a rural Nova Scotia thing. It depends what kind of work you're looking for, but there are more jobs in the HRM than elsewhere in the province.

    It's probably the most ridiculous sign in the city. I don't think I have ever seen anyone obey it, and I've never seen the police care about it either. Could you imagine how backed up traffic would get there during rush hour if nobody turned right?
