I have a Subaru impreza 06 2.5i I wanted a STI but im only 17 on a budget but i decided to make it a project by giving a N/A car a turbo, trans swap auto to manual, custom hood scoop, and now im going to install the STI wing this video helped a lot thanks i get a lot of hate for my build but im proud of what i did and i hope others just build what they want 👍
Love this video and love seeing girls in the subie community. I think girls are better at explaining things in general. Like dead ass when I watch other ppls tutorials it makes no sense what so ever. And I’m abt to take off the stock wing on mine and put the sti wing on mine. And this helped hellas. Thankkk uuuu

You shouldve used a paint marker on the bottom of the bolts then you can place it onto the boot and youll know where the bolt holes are is so you can drill it out
# BRANDINGLE the bolts were different lengths or else that would have been the easiest way. Also where they needed to touch was not flat so they couldn’t have all reached to trunk lid.. so how I did it was easiest for me.

Lettuce i bought it off a guy who was parting out his 2004 Subaru STi. Found it for sal on a local Subaru Facebook page. You may be able to buy one off Craigslist. I would try to buy an oem one not after market to insure it fits properly and meets specs
Nick M car id is awful I ordered from them twice they messed it up twice. If you saw the headlight in this vid I ordered them from car id originally then they didn’t have made me wait around so I canceled... long story wasted a lot of time and money for nothing ended up getting headlights from eBay for cheaper. And the STi wing off a stripped 04 that was going to be a parts car.
I have a limited edition 07 Sti so it didn't come with the nice spolier unfortunately I already have a spare Sti trunk with the holes but what do you think about a carbon fiber OEM wing I don't ever see them so I wonder if it's a bad idea or not
Feral Fangs funny story. Tried to get one. It was garbage.. if you can find a good one it will be $$$$. Do not fall for the crappy carbon single top layer car id ones. They are wonky warped... the spots you would be mounting into are not Secure... so go with a high quality company if that is the path you choose.
KiteStefan tbh really is pretty easy just make sure your template is good and as accurate as can be! Drilling wasn't hard because it's thin soft metal. All you need for that is a drill and a drill bit big enough. And a Chisel to make an indent for the bit if you want it, definitely not needed but may be helpful.

pro tip, put masking tape, where you are going to drill, and drill through the masking tape, it will prevent your paint from flaking off

I’m trying to remove my STI wing from my 03 wrx and I can’t find where to unplug the 3rd brake light wire
