Thank you Candace, my father has dual citizenship and I plan on doing the same. This information was very helpful. Baby Boy Daemon blonde hair is everything .💛 Stay Safe and Healthy Familia
@@laguerita70THANK YOU FOR THIS Candice ❤ I've been trying to get your attention for over a year now. I'm so happy you did this vlog. If you saw questions here and on IG about a daughter giving birth to her second child in Augascalientes Augascalientes Mexico THAT WAS ME BUGGING 😊
@@stephs3597 Thank you! My parents are Mexican, but my siblings and I were born in the U.S. I guess it never occurred to them that we might want our Mexican citizenship, but thankfully the process was easy and free.
You're so amazing at everything you do . A great mom, wife , daughter, sister, friend . A great teacher too. It is so generous of you to share your knowledge and experience.
This brought back so many memories of going through immigration with my husband. That interview we had, knowing they could decide our future was very stressful. We had a great lawyer. But this was important for you to share so people in USA know how immigration works. So few understand. Thanks!❤
What happens with your grandkids when the time comes? Like when your kids have kids Since they have to prove that they were in the USA prior of them being born if your kids marry someone from Mexico. Will their kids be able to get the dual citizenship? Or will your kids have to live in the USA for 5+ years prior? I know I’m jumping way ahead 😂😂 but it was a thought I had while watching lol
@@MarthaHernandez-sz1py this is a great question and actually was curious about this 🤔 I did the CRBA for my babies. Both my daughters were born in Germany and I'm American, they usually want to see like school records (I gave my transcripts), utility bill, tax records, anything that says that the American parent legally stood on US soil whether it's just a movie ticket or a receipt. They want proof that you were in the US not exactly residing... So for her kids, if they fly to the US for one day to say HI to grandma then that serves as proof to submit with the CRBA.
Saludos guerita! Was the process different for Diego? Since he was born in the US, what is the process with the Mexican government to get the Mexican dual citizenship?
My daughter is doble nationality : french and spanish! Even in the european area it's complicated ! But finally she has spanish identity card and at 18 she will be choose or the spanish or the french or the both !
I just got my baby's, she was born in Germany and it's one hella process but we don't have to go anywhere far because we're military so we get to do it all on base 😁
Yes we travel with both. They enter the United States with their US passport and enter Mexico with their Mexico passport. Neither passport shows dual citizenship.
They always ask for both Dominic’s and This time for Daemon’s Mexico birth certificate so I would error on the side of caution and get it first through the registry civil in Mexico. 😊

Hello! I’m in the same situation as your sons. My mom is Mexican and my dad was American. They decided I would be born in Mexico. Later, my dad passed onto me the US citizenship. However, I’ve lost my original naturalization certificate. Do you know where I can go to get a new one?

Pronto Daemon puede ser presidente de USA?. Viajará con 2 pasaportes?. En sus documentos pondrá que es mexico-americano o lo que más convenga?
Yes we travel with both. They enter the United States with their US passport and enter Mexico with their Mexico passport. Neither passport shows dual citizenship.
What happens if you are a US citizen and are visiting Mexico and you go into labor unexpectedly and deliver there?
Questions do i need to have his mexican birth certificate first or just the one from the hospital...it been 15 years since i had to do the process
