When I first heard "Undefeatable" from the "Official Sonic The Hedgehog" channel, I really didn't like it at the time, because of how metal it is. Then when Frontiers released, which I didn't play it until the GameAwards2022 btw, some creators would release the soundtrack early. The anime like fight, the atmosphere of the fight, Sonic being so freaking cool, super sonic 2, and the music. I spent nearly 4 hours the other day trying to get through the master king trial. And all of that made the struggle worth it!
When I hear this song, I can't help but think of the parallels between Sonic and Supreme's pilot. Both are said to give anything for the sake of their world and their own loved ones. Sure, you have the connections between Tails, Knuckles and Amy and the pilots on their respective islands, but Sonic's feels deeper. Both have an inextinguible spark to them, they would both sacrifice themselves to save their entire planet. And that's exactly what Sonic does in this final fight, knowing full well that using all of the cyber corruption's power could kill him. THIS is Sonic's theme. The instrumental at 3:35 feels like the battle, maybe even the war, is finally won and the long awaited dawn and sunrise has come at last, which feels like a payoff to a line from The Dark Knight when Harvey Dent says "The night is darkest just before the dawn. I promise you. The dawn is coming."
The journey to get here was grueling and I'm not yet sure if I can say it was worth it, but one thing's for sure If they're gonna carry over anything from this game into future entries, it had dang well better be boss fights like this.
Aside from the difficulty spike and lack of polish, what a way to end off Frontiers. It does feel like the grand finale to the series, with this ancient evil, a creature that doesn't understand the soul and fails to comprehend the brilliance of willpower. How Sonic and Sage wordlessly fight off The End while it just monologues how futile their efforts are, how Sonic's prior foes were nothing, and how it cannot be defeated. The End is a creature that will never understand the will to live, concepts like trust, friendship, and love. It's an arrogant and sadistic creature that only exists to destroy. And in the end, it was proven wrong because it can't understand the impossible power of will. The End vs. Sonic embodies what hope is in the face of hopelessness. The End came back, it claimed the Titan as it's vessel to continue it's campaign of destruction, but Sonic gives it all he's got, pushing himself to his very limits, and with the help of his friends and Eggman, he deals the final blow, avenging the Ancients and destroying this creature once and for all. This song was phenomenal, it got me pumped hearing it. The end where Sonic pierces through The End, what a finale! For all the flack Sonic Team and SEGA get, there's no denying they love this franchise.
Well not once and for all the END cannot be destroyed they just slowed it down remember thats not its true form just a incarceration the E N D comes for you all it can never die
@@roguereaver634 The End's monologue was the best part of their fight in the base game. I like how serious Sonic was, he didn't try to engage with them, display any of his trademark snark, or crack jokes, he and Sage fought back without saying a word.

May I just say how much I admire the Sonic Team? They've spent the past decade or so having to put up with time constraints and rushed endings. This game went through the same thing, only this time, they decided to go back and finish what they started, and made everything FREE. They essentially said, "We hear you. I love that Krillin Quinn, AKA the same person that made all of the other Titan themes, gets to sing “I’m Here” is just absolutely amazing and sounds 10 times better.
Love I’m Here but this Version makes it more Epic and Adrenaline Heavy with Goosebumps than the Original and the Fact that we haven’t seen Phase 2 Orchestral in this Franchise for Years that might Rivals Solaris, Perfect Dark Gaia, and Nega Wisp but it’s surpasses it with Super Sonic 2 being Badass, Sage Surviving with the Help of Tails, Amy, and Knuckles, and Eggman doing what he does best Shoting to a Terraforms with a Giant Laser like the Arc in the Moon and the Earth to Awake Dark Gaia but instead of using the Chaos Emeralds he uses Super Sonic.
Sucks that Merry Kirk Holmes’s version is gonna be heavily over by Kellin’s version but aye this song was re-done beautifully and I’m not complaining that I’m gonna be listening to it more
Also sucks for Merry that his version plays during the bad Supreme fight while Kellin's version plays for the new, much hyper one. I find Merry's version is more fitting for the game as a whole while Kellin's is more fitting for Cyber Sonic.
Just finished like an hour ago, and holy hell. I cried at the first ending, this was just. I cant describe how much I feel right now. La sensación que me provocó escuchar la canción fue la misma que sentí al escuchar undefeatable por primera vez, creí que no iba a sentir la misma sensación hasta el próximo gran juego de sonic.
I like how the song starts with a despair vibe, but then a pretty voice starts saying *follow me* and then you notice that this is not a song for the end anymore, but for you
This version has a couple melodic changes that makes it really catchy. I like that it's a little more metal too. The vocal changes are also nice too. Kellen's voice isn't as immediately forward as in the original, but because of the metal arrangement and the melodic backing vocals, the vocals really stand out in some of the more isolated parts. Particularly in 3:47 where he says "ones I love", the little pitch shifting really works there and sounds very nice as well as the harmonies. A very nice decision to have that there. The guitar solo was also really cool too. This version made me like the song even more it's great.

The island itself may have ranged from ok to frustrating at times. But man that final boss didn’t disappoint at all. Banger new version of I’m here and a fantastic new final boss.

Bro I'm Here was already competing for my top 1, this version just guaranteed it the spot
@@juubi249Is in my top 3 for sure, alongside Undefeatable and Find your Flame.
Sonics behavior this whole boss can be summed up in two words “ok and?” He was no nonsense cool during this
The instrumental at 3:35 feels like the battle, maybe even the war, is finally won and the long awaited dawn and sunrise has come at last, which feels like a payoff to a line from The Dark Knight when Harvey Dent says "The night is darkest just before the dawn. I promise you. The dawn is coming."
i had no idea this was kellin first time listening! he has some crazy range omg. this might be my favorite song in the entire game now.
So can't wait for this to be on Spotify!!!!!!!!!!!
Same, than it’ll complete the 4 titan fight kellin quinn collection
Well you only got 2 days left Cause it releases on October 2nd!
Well you only got 2 days left Cause it releases on October 2nd!
Is the same true for Apple music?
@@mrperish3778 I mean I think so. The official sonic Japan notice states that the refreshed ost will debut on distribution services from October 2nd
If it wasnt for the rematch of the other three titans i wouldve heard this masterpiece way earlier than i did
3:20 How HOW DID THEY COME UP WITH THIS ITS INCREDIBLE KELLIN YOU GOD-
The journey to get here was grueling and I'm not yet sure if I can say it was worth it, but one thing's for sure
If they're gonna carry over anything from this game into future entries, it had dang well better be boss fights like this.
You mentioning the monologue now makes me wish they sprinkled parts of it into the new fight, was one of the better parts of the original one
@@roguereaver634 The End's monologue was the best part of their fight in the base game. I like how serious Sonic was, he didn't try to engage with them, display any of his trademark snark, or crack jokes, he and Sage fought back without saying a word.
@@Kill_peter We don't know that for sure. The next game could have Eggman return as the big bad guy and we've forgotten all about The End. And we don't know if they're going to replace Eggman as the main villain going forward.
@@ranpan6082 fair point but does that mean it lost? No not at all bad writing or different narrative doesn’t mean lost that just means they will get to it when they get to it just like metal sonic and other villains

"can you hear the spirits sing? lost messages from long ago"
"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAT"
"Follow me, im standing on the border of everything, listen close. Can you hear the spirits sing the lost messages of long ago? Lead the light i can do before see underworld were fighting for find the truth that who i meant to become, another ground i must know have gone. IM HERE REACHING ACROSS THESE NEW FRONTIERS" i loved that part.
May I just say how much I admire the Sonic Team? They've spent the past decade or so having to put up with time constraints and rushed endings. This game went through the same thing, only this time, they decided to go back and finish what they started, and made everything FREE.
They essentially said, "We hear you. We're gonna fix what we messed up... *and make it even better.* "
We need more devs like these guys fr 😔👌
Well we might
Concidering they bought rovio
We might as well see some good decisions again for the angry birds games 🤯
What else can I say but, especially today, SEGA DOES WHAT NINTENDON’T
@asterthehedgehog6861 wym? Nintendo pretty much invented the whole "release an incomplete game but we'll finish it up through 'free' updates" schtick.
@@asterthehedgehog6861in what way? 😐
@@Splatomixno they freaking didn’t
I like to imagine sonic is just having a kareoke session whenever he fights a boss
🔥🔥
This comment gave me a mental image of super sonic on a stage singing his heart out and it's hilarious
Anytime they do a triumphant orchestral remix of the main theme for the final boss it’s amazing
The intro of this song really sets this up it’s incredible I had a blast fighting the end along this absolute banger of a song
AHHHHHH!!!!! How tf did they make this EVEN BETTER than the original?!?!?
🔥🔥🗿🔥🔥
Well
Because we started a story anew
By getting a better singer
This make the base final boss even more 🗑️
I’ve never screamed so loud when I heard the vocals came in, I legit think perfect dark Gaia has been dethroned as my favourite final boss theme in sonic I could not stop laughing lol.
Not fair given PDG is from a 2008 game, this is from a 2023 one.
@@artistanthony1007Uhh no? Unleashed had no limitations in what it could do for its music
When this releases, I’m listening to this song everyday. This is honestly the most hype building song I’ve ever heard in my life!❤
words will never be able to describe how it felt hearing this for the first time
I thought they could never top the original
BUT THEY DID 🔥🔥🔥
They weren’t messing around with this final fight and the theme, this is what I’m here was missing the first time . Great music, GREAT GAME
Sonic is BACK, and I couldn't be more happier! 🥲
🔥🔥
And thus,he finally complete his ultimate Sonic Adventure of all time.

THE POWER OF JUSTICE
THE POWER OF TRUST
THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP
THE POWER OF LOVE
THE POWER OF FAITH
THE POWER OF DETERMINATION
This secret power source has fueled your body to its max. You can finally take down the mightiest evil with it.
🔥🔥
Easily The Best Orchestral Remix for the Franchise. I am still Processing The Final Boss 24 Hours later
wait holy shit you're right Eggman has now blown up *two* moons
@mieastra if you know then you know
Sucks that Merry Kirk Holmes’s version is gonna be heavily over by Kellin’s version but aye this song was re-done beautifully and I’m not complaining that I’m gonna be listening to it more
Also sucks for Merry that his version plays during the bad Supreme fight while Kellin's version plays for the new, much hyper one. I find Merry's version is more fitting for the game as a whole while Kellin's is more fitting for Cyber Sonic.
I mean the original is the only titan theme you can play anywhere in the base game
They still wrote the lyrics to the original song and the lyrics are still the same here. Still contributed to this version in a way
I absolutely loved the original "I'm here" but they somehow managed to make an even better version of an already amazing song!
This feels way more like a titan theme than the original did and I'm so here for it
Just finished like an hour ago, and holy hell. I cried at the first ending, this was just. I cant describe how much I feel right now. I finally got my happy ending and it made me cry and smile at the same time. I love Sonic Frontiers, I love this song, I love sega. Thank you for making an absolutely amazing game.
Still can’t beat masters trial… I’ll never beat The End… 😢

Biggest hottest take I ever had: Frontier’s ost is even better than Mania’s.

This Fight took me 5 days to beat.
But my GOD.
this song got me so hyped when I FINALLY Reached this part in the End Fight.
2:01 This song screams hype and confidence... Love to see it, KISHOMOTO COOKED !!
Now this is a final boss/main theme remix.

La sensación que me provocó escuchar la canción fue la misma que sentí al escuchar undefeatable por primera vez, creí que no iba a sentir la misma sensación hasta el próximo gran juego de sonic.
Mann when I heard this song, no words can explain the chills I got.

These part is the FINAL BUZZER BEATER
WE ♥️ U SO MUCH KOBE AND LEBRON!!
Esta versión de i’m here ahora es la dueña del top 1 de mis canciones favoritas el erizo azul
I like how the song starts with a despair vibe, but then a pretty voice starts saying *follow me* and then you notice that this is not a song for the end anymore, but for you
There's no way that they can top the original version of I'm here but they freaking did it
🔥🔥
@@darkvoidpeyeah i am with you especially how the revamped final boss is insanely hype as heck
Best song for an Epic and Badass Finale.
I didn't realise it was HIM,untill someone pointed it out. He sounds as incredible as ever.
So Kellen Quinn is a boy? Because if so, then his voice sounds female, almost like Justin Bieber.
@@Thomas-tt9kc Yes, the most incredible thing is that he is almost 38 years old and still has the same absurd voice, even better than at his peak more than 10 years ago.
@@Thomas-tt9kc look for sleeping with sirens, it's the band where he is the lead singer

Wow this song I'm Here new version is awesome dude and l love it's too
I love it more than the original.
Is it weird to cry over Sonic OST? I've been such a big fan of Sonic ever since I was 6 and found Generations. (I'm 13 rn.) Sonic has always been a big part of my life, especially his songs, they always have a special part in my heart. When Frontiers came out I was gripping my hair because of how I loved it, Undefeatable was the song that made me love this game even more, now I'm Here is Revisited by THE SAME PERSON WHO SANG UNDEFEATABLE. KELLEN QUINN. I'm so happy I found Sonic and each time I listen to his songs it makes me want to cry due to how much he impacted my life in the best way possible.
I'm twice your age, but I've been there. In my early teens, I made countless playlists of Sonic themes that I listened to while playing other games. SA, SA2, and Heroes were my go-to's. And when this drops on Spotify, I'll be adding Sonic songs all over again. Here's hoping Kellin Quinn can be to you what Crush 40 was to me!
@@ICader7194 Thanks for the suggestion.
@@MOORE4U2 It definitely is!
I'm two years ahead of you. It's not weird at all! I LOVE Sonic music and I listen to it everyday
I was in Saturday's Orchestra in LA, I couldn't stop crying, sonic music just has something that makes you feel a surge of emotions, I remember the first time I heard Nega Whisp Armor Phase 2, I couldn't even play from all the emotions gathering up in my mind
BRO THE REVISITED EDITION OF IM HERE CAN BE USED FOR EVERYTHING BRO!!!!!!!!!
This song is phenomenal, i feel like nobody excepted this, any "epic" version remix before this feels weird to listen to
This update was so grueling but when those vocals hit you know its all worth it
So finished this update last night and dear god hearing this actually made fan girl harder than giganto with the unleashed like orchestral version at the beginning and then kellin on this track
If they dont bring back crush 40 in the next game they def should bring back kellan
3:16 *ascends from chair after listening this for the first time*
It happens to us all the time when we're so immersed. I was actually hoping we'd get the same Now or Never QTE from the OG final boss or even the button mashing QTE as Sonic charges up to full Cyber Power, but I can let it slide.
And here I thought the song couldn't get any better 🤩🤩🤩🔥🔥🔥
Sega: "listen kellin, we can't go overbudget on this Song, got It?
Kellin: *"SORRY SEGA, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE I'M GOING ALL OUT AFTER ALL!😎"*
kellin didn’t make the song 😭
I know that, he sang It though! And his vocals are incredible!
1:37 to 1:47 sounds like a reference to Break through it all.
NOW YOUVED CROSSED THE LINE
