You know, I definitely stopped calling my mom "mommy" pretty early in life. I think I was still in middle school, maybe even elementary school, when she became 'mom'. But when she got older and I started having to take care of things for her, she became 'momma', but it was more like a nick name than the plaintive way children call out for 'mommy'. A similar thing has happened with my father. He was 'dad' for almost my whole life, but in his sixties, he's become 'pappa'.
She is wonderful. Her qualifier with the voice texts was VERY key: 2min or less, keep it very short and direct and on topic. People sending 5, 10, 15, 20min+ voice texts is the literal worst. It turns into them just talking to themselves rambling on bullshitting about whatever thoughts come into their head like a narcissistic one sided conversation. In 2min someone can say what they wanted to text, but in 20min they can say so much more and so much more incoherently than if they took the time to more thoughtfully compose a text message or just have a real conversation. Hate that.
Median height for women in the U.K. is 162cm. So yeah I wouldn’t say 161cm was short. 🤷 But my guess is she’s comparing herself to actresses like Anya Taylor Joy, Margot Robbie, Daisy Edgar Jones, Jennifer Lawrence all of which are tall actresses relatively to her. 🤷
I mean, in context she was talking about interacting with the world and there it doesn't matter if you're about average "for a woman", 161 cm is still short relative to most people (whereas you can be average height or even short "for a man" and _not_ spend a lot of time with your face in other people's armpits :).
