I love Arlo, he's so handsome. You hit the jackpot at the thrift store, great haul. It must he great to have moved into a house, like starting fresh. Have fun setting up your house and getting your stitch stuff
So appreciate your witch trial comments. I grew up there and have always had a challenge with accepting how Salem turned a tragedy into a tourist attraction without acknowledging the horror of the mob.
Congrats on your new place! I’ve heard great things about Fort Collins. Be Stitch Me looks like an amazing shop! I’m so impressed by how many designs you’re putting out ! They are awesome. And what an interesting take on the Salem Witch Trials - thanks for that point of view and great reminder. Thanks for sharing your stitching and be well!
Congrats 🎉🎊🍾 on your new home 🏡 wishing you all the best with the move and storage. Love all your finishes and ffo what a great at the thrift store. Have a wonderful week and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Oh thank you! My tastes have changed over the past two years but I love listening to people talk about books even when they’re not my cup of tea so hopefully people still enjoy it!
Congrats on the new home! I love an Arlo cameo. 💜 I am the same with Blackbird. I thought, oh that's pretty, but didn't need it. Then I kept seeing it and fell in love.
Yes! A lot of her designs have to grow on me. They are released and I’m like “meh” first glance then I look at it a few more times and suddenly I’m OBSESSED? 🤣
That’s awesome, I used to Live in Fort Collins. I definitely miss it. Good luck with all your moving and storage! I know it always takes a while to get set back up.
Thank you! I’ve only been here a week and a half and admittedly hadn’t spent much time here but I’m REALLY loving it so far. There’s just a “vibe” to it that’s different than Boulder/Denver side of the Front Range!
Fourth wing looks so good in that frame! Thanks for the shout out! Love the new sampler, it'll be on my next purchase list, defo in vibrant colours i think too, love the spooky vibe. Also totally agree with you regarding the witch trials date. definitely something to reflect on when stitching something like that. Will keep an eye out for that pattern too. Maybe one day! Jen x
Oh my goodness, Arlo is all grown up 😍 Enjoy setting up your space in the new house. Congrats on the new sampler; it’s beautiful! Always love the brighter colors from the back ❤️
Love your videos. Funny thing, I just started listening to an audiobook called Killing the Witches, lots of interesting background to everything that took place.
I was literally just thinking about you this morning and then your video posted! I’m glad you’re getting a little settled and holy stitching! You got a lot done! Love it all!
I m so happy to see you have a home again🎉🎉🎉 it’s amazing news! Congrats! I totally want a video about your left stash ❤ Your story about thrift store was super cool, I felt like I was there with you and it made me so happy to see all the treasures u found! Booktalk is appreciated as always, I m not into romance myself, but I still listen to all your recommendations. Say hi to your doggy from me, he is super adorable ❤❤❤
Congrats on the new release! Very pretty. And it must be fun to be back in a house! You worked on so many things. I appreciate and agree with your comment on the 1962 and witch trials. And hello Arlo 🥰
Could you please share the colorway of the Thread Works on your work in progress Quaker Sampler and also the count of the Antique White linen? I just received this pattern and have been thinking of how to finish it and your colors are beautiful. Thank you!
Of course! Sorry I was a little scattered and out of practice. The linen is R&R Reproductions 40 count in “Antique Cotton.” The Threadworx is number 1070 “Rocky Mountains.”
Love your new sampler! Quick question - what LNS are must visits in Kansas City and/or Lawrence? My sister is visiting our other sister in KC for the Kansas game and she wants recommendations for where to go. ❤
There are two LNS in the KC area but they’re in the far eastern suburbs - CC and Company and Quilters Station. There used to be one in Lawrence but I’m not confident it’s still there and I actually never got a chance to check it out. I haven’t been to CC’s but Quilters Station is definitely worth a trip!
thank you so much! i lived in Lawrence for college but I was not into cross stitch at the time and that was nearly twenty years ago @@kansascitygirlinacoloradow4285
Good eye!!! At this point in history, it was very common for the J to be left off. I don’t want to misspeak but I’ve heard different reasons - something about J was reserved for Jesus and it was considered out of line to use the letter. Now I need to go research this some more and see what I can find! If I get some good info, I’ll do an update on my next video
@@kansascitygirlinacoloradow4285 that is fascinating, i would love to know more about that! I was looking to see if you had used a different colour or stitch for J for Julie
What a wonderful parade of projects. Thank you for the information about Salem.
Love your finishes and your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!

It's SO good to see you 😍 loving your finish of Salem Remembered. Giving me the urge to hun for Primitive Needle patterns again now 😂
I just loved seeing Arlo ❤❤ I’m catching up on your videos and I have screen shotted every book!! I love your book section. I’m on to the next video ❤
🥰🥰🥰
So appreciate your witch trial comments. I grew up there and have always had a challenge with accepting how Salem turned a tragedy into a tourist attraction without acknowledging the horror of the mob.
❤️❤️❤️ I understand why it’s so “popular” because it was a fascinating time but it kills me to see “silly” witch stuff with Salem 1692 on it!
I absolutely agree. I won’t stitch anything with the 1692 on it. It just doesn’t sit right with me and I think Julie put it into words beautifully.
Love the new samplers! Very much appreciate you helping to bring awareness about not tying 1692 and the witch trials to Halloween.
❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for another great video! Loved the shop tour and congrats on Miss Strange!
Thanks so much!
So glad to see you again! Glad you are settled. What a haul!! Can’t wait to get your sampler. Thx for sharing.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for getting on your soapbox about 1692. I’ve always thought it was disrespectful too. I’m glad to know I’m not alone.
Welcome to Fort Collins! I love the book talk. Although I don't enjoy some of your genres, I have loved some of the books that you highly recommended.
Oh thank you! My tastes have changed over the past two years but I love listening to people talk about books even when they’re not my cup of tea so hopefully people still enjoy it!

Thanks, Sarah! I was just sorting through stash and looking at your recent patterns in JCS trying to decide which to kit up! 😍
Aww thanks ☺️
Love your videos. Funny thing, I just started listening to an audiobook called Killing the Witches, lots of interesting background to everything that took place.
I need to find some books and delve deeper into the history!
I am so jealous of your trip to BeStitchMe! Although I don’t think my bank account could afford a trip there 😂
I definitely did NOT need to be spending that money 🫣🫣🫣
Congrats on your new home!
Welcome back to Colorado Julie! I am just down the road in Loveland.
Yay!!! I’m loving Fort Collins!

Enjoyed spending some time with you today. Beautiful stitching. Your new sampler is gorgeous. Take care, my friend.
Thank you! You too!
Does the Strange sampler have 1 over 1 or specialty stitches? I am an Aida only stitcher.
You answered my question.
Why is there no J in the new sampler?

Nope, just passing through. I wish!
