The most underrated moment of this episode is Sansa giving Joffrey the death glare and about to push him off the walkway. She was fully ready to die to avenge her father. Brave wolf girl!

I always took the story of Dany's baby to be how stories/lore/legends start. Maybe it resembled a dragon but maybe the witch was playing off the concept because she heard how Dany talked about herself being a dragon. But babies can be born with a chalky scaly look. And even rarer, they are born with a "veil" which usually symbolizes good fortune. What happens is the baby is still encased in the amniotic sac when birthed. Sometimes it's only a piece of the sac. So my added guess is the baby was born with pieces of sac on it's arms making it look like "wings". But that's just my theory :)
I don't know if this is true, maybe it's from the books, but I read a comment on another video saying that it isn't uncommon for Targaryens to have stillborn children who are deformed and dragon-like. Maybe they do somehow have dragon's blood. Maybe the witch was telling the truth. Also, what does it mean when you say some babies are born with a veil? I've never heard the word in that context.
nah this is cap. her baby was the same of the one when Rhaenyra miscarries in HOTD season 1. both scaled, with features of a dragon like a weirdly shaped head

I have read the part with the witch and her trying to heal Drogo in the book and watched it on the show and in both cases even though she talked trash to Dany afterwards, I really feel like she tried to heal Drogo. Or that her way to heal him was what they ended up with, which is him being alive but being a vegetable. In the case of the baby, it may have been just consequences of Jorah entering the tent during some bad moment during the arcane incantations.
Pycel being impressive for being able to stand up straight and do a few squats. It's kind of a matter of degrees as to how aged and infirm he is. Even so, once one knows his secret 'hardiness' it makes his act seem annoying and wasting everyone's time. Igli certainly saw the eggs hatching. I also liked how he just immediately thought of the connection between Ned losing his head and Jaime getting captured. It does make a trade more challenging to be sure! I really wish there was more time to flesh out these stories as the book. In the book, the Hound is a major part of Sansa's security detail and so has spent a fair amount of time guarding her. However, he was furious with her fixation on romantic stories involving knights and saw fit to cure her of her notions, and told her upsetting stories of atrocities he'd witnessed. This sort of morphed into a confessional for him; so when he protects Sansa, the Hound is protecting his 'therapist.' Yes, Robb was 'made a king' By whom? His more cantankerous allies? Think about this: If Ned Stark didn't care who sat on the Iron Throne, he wouldn't have tried to stop Joffrey from ruling, he could have just gone home. Robb has sort of betrayed what his father died for. There was a lot of weirdness regarding Khal Drogo's 'Blood Riders' in the book. Dothroki blood riders are body guards that are bound by blood oaths to their Khal. They basically slaughtered each other during the ceremony, the three lives that 'charged up' the inert eggs might have been theirs?
The witch dying had nothing to do with the eggs hatching - the eggs hatching is part of the prophecy of the prince that was promised: "According to the prophecy, this figure would be born amidst salt and smoke, wake dragons from stone, and pull a sword named Lightbringer from flames, which they would use to combat an impending darkness." "Wake dragons from stone" - thats what just happened. "Pull a sword named Lightbringer from flames" - the dragons were born from the flames, her dragons (some say specifically Drogon) are Lightbringer which will be used to combat an impending darkness (Lightbringer is the sword of Azor Ahai. The prince that was promised is Azor Ahai reborn)
Jon’s Nights Watch brothers literally saved his life. If Jon had reached Robb, his brother would have had to behead him for being a deserter since Robb is now King in The North and Warden of The North. Also, Usually I’m with Igli but The Hound getting his face pushed into fire by his big brother, The Mountain, for playing with his toy, is not only physically but emotional scarring and painful. I’d take Tyrion’s backstory anyday. Still my man tho, Igli…
I Don’t know that Robb would follow through with the execution. I think it’s a real 50/50 since he’s his brother. I think since Robb is King, he would pardon Jon. But that’s just my theory - Blake

I'm still catching up to your latest reactions so I might have missed this but if you decide to do a recap between seasons, perhaps do a review of the Histories/Lore from season 1. Season 1 Histories/Lore would provide a good recap and flesh out some details that were discussed in season 1 without really spoiling anything for Igli. It would also prep him a bit for things to come in season 2. Just a thought, good job guys.

The lannisters are the head lords of the kingdom "westerlands" and their castle is called "casterly rock". However each kingdom and each noble family submit to one king. The king who sits on the iron throne The previous family who held the iron throne were the targaryans. The mad king caused a coupe de tat to form between couple kingdoms but they wernt really active. Untill rheagar targaryan (mad kings son, dany's brother) supposedly graped and killed ned starks sister After that, 4 kingdoms the north, stormlands, the vale and riverlands declared war on the iron throne and they won. The throne has been conquered by Robert baratheon of the stormlands. And he declared jon arryn the lord of the vale as his hand. What did the other kingdoms do? The lannisters sided with the targaryans (passively) untill Robert was winning. They switched sides and helped end the war The tyrells from kingdom "the reach" sided all the way with the targaryans. After the targaryans lost the tyrells pledged their loyalty to the new king The greyjoys (theons family) from the kingdom "iron islands" were sitting the war out and were planning to use the aftermath of the war to their advantage. They were just plotting basically
Unpopular opinion time. I find Dany to be insufferable. Her story bores me to no end and I always skip past most of it. Dragons? Not impressed. I prefer dragon slayers. Nothing good has ever come from there being dragons. I'm not in the "dragons are cool" camp.
I loved her at first, but I would watch her scenes on 2x😭it was so boring how it got dragged along for the longest, and obviously I won’t spoil what happens in the later seasons, but after this episode I could see it all coming, idk how people were genuinely shocked

In my opinion, the horse saved Drogo's life and had nothing to do with birthing the dragons.

Crusader Kings 3 is an amazing game! I'm completely a CK nerd, and the GoT mod is great for it and for CK2!
