playing Argent D'anur in Ultra nightmare is horrible, I literally resorted to punching imps because I had run out of all ammunition, used my BFG and Chainsaw to barely avoid dying.
The soundtrack supposed to escalate as the game goes on. Even at different moments, depending on the situation, the riffs to certain songs just play in a different order. It's all meant to fit the atmosphere and progression.
Taz Shadewind I was wondering because I believe the 2016 soundtrack has 2 other mouth for war throwbacks somewhere in it. Didn't expect me to run into a third one!

VEGA honestly deserved better but at least he got a theme that reflects what a badass it takes to make the sacrifice he did. Only reasons it got flak from reviewers were the inflated price due to mining and the odd optimization(it's a card for tinkerers). I had a Vega 64, long story short I broke it while water-cooling it and changed to a 1080 Ti. I honestly miss the Vega, I've been so tempted to buy another Vega 64 for my secondary Node 202 rig. And think about it: Vega 64 is a bulky-ass card with crazy cooling. There's literally a Doom level dedicated to destroying the insanely advanced cooling system Vega used. So cool.

Doomguy only worked with Hayden because he didn't have much a choice since he needed a way to Hell and back, and their goals of exterminating the demons aligned at the time. Doomguy probably saved Vega because he realized Vega wasn't blindly loyal to Hayden and actually had humanity's best interest at heart, as opposed to Hayden who only wanted the Argent energy at any cost.

In DOOM Eternal he has a file on his computer called *Rip and tear mix.* It's a fun little easter egg that insinuates the games OST is what Doomguy listens to while slaying demons.
I like to think that the Doom Slayer just blasts the music from his helmet, and that's why all the demons always know your location, they can hear you blaring the soundtrack.
They should have put more emphasis on Gordon's music in this game. Most of these brilliant soundtracks are so hard to hear during gameplay, and the best parts are not even used.
In game soundtracks are usually different to releases like this. Game soundtracks are usually built around the game, where as final releases like this, are mixed for the tracks themselves.
I just realized something. You know all those iconic armored heroes in pop culture: Iron Man, Master Chief, Samus Aran etc. They all have one thing in common: their armor is the one granting them all those special powers and without it, they're defenseless. So you know what's funny? The Doomslayer's armor doesn't grant him anything, except for cool looks and the occasional double jump. He's naturally that strong. He's naturally that fast. And he's naturally that BADASS.
Chief and Samus are supersoldiers with or without, but not _quite_ on the Slayer's level. Also..."natural"? No. As of 2016, the Slayer doesn't run on ab crunches and grunt candy; he has become something more.

Going back through the game after finding Rich Get Richer and Armored Offensive really changes the tone of the final levels. It goes from the Doom Slayer as the underdog scraping by by the skin of his teeth fighting some of the most powerful demons in all of Hell, to “I’m not locked in here with you, you’re locked in here with me” the video game.

I know that the Soundtrack has already been released on Spotify and other places, and that there's a full video with the Soundtrack already on TH-cam, but are you going to upload the rest of the individual tracks on your channel too? IMO these videos with the gameplay/guitar visuals are vastly superior to the other versions!

In game soundtracks are usually different to releases like this. Game soundtracks are usually built around the game, where as final releases like this, are mixed for the tracks themselves.

I just realized something. You know all those iconic armored heroes in pop culture: Iron Man, Master Chief, Samus Aran etc. They all have one thing in common: their armor is the one granting them all those special powers and without it, they're defenseless. So you know what's funny? The Doomslayer's armor doesn't grant him anything, except for cool looks and the occasional double jump. He's naturally that strong. He's naturally that fast. And he's naturally that BADASS.
Chief and Samus are supersoldiers with or without, but not _quite_ on the Slayer's level. Also..."natural"? No. As of 2016, the Slayer doesn't run on ab crunches and grunt candy; he has become something more.
I miss playing this game for the first time. Now Eternal's gameplay absolutely destroys this game entirely, but Doom 2016 was such a nice experience.
I still prefer the simplicity of 2016s combat. Eternal felt like it was trying to do too much.

Every time I try and visualise this track ... I just think We're the ball in the pinball machine being go forcibly moved around with and bouncing on all the obstacles faster and more brutally as the song keeps going

Going back through the game after finding Rich Get Richer and Armored Offensive really changes the tone of the final levels. It goes from the Doom Slayer as the underdog scraping by by the skin of his teeth fighting some of the most powerful demons in all of Hell, to “I’m not locked in here with you, you’re locked in here with me” the video game.

I know that the Soundtrack has already been released on Spotify and other places, and that there's a full video with the Soundtrack already on TH-cam, but are you going to upload the rest of the individual tracks on your channel too? IMO these videos with the gameplay/guitar visuals are vastly superior to the other versions!
Most of the ones on TH-cam are game-rips anyway.
