WOAH! I've been playing since the week the game released and didn't know about this line, that's actually sick! I was considering running Peter Pan's Shadow over Tinker Bell but I think this one comment alone just swayed my opinion on it
Just saw you update on dreamborn. Saw addition of 3 Pinocchio's and a drop in mother knows best. Any way you could tell me your thoughts on the changes you made? Saw another deck variation of past inklands winner with the deck has mim dragons added in. Thoughts?
I didn’t consider the 1 cost Maleficent. I’m just running 4 Rafiki so I can consistently have either an aggro card with Merfolk or a good answer other card with Rafiki. But maybe a more aggro approach would be good. How often do you find yourself using the Chernabog Followers? Think about swapping that for the Mal and keep Rafiki at 4. I also cut a rabbit for a small genie for the draw and shuffle songs you sing with Ursula
Cherna is one of the slots im least sure on but it's just a great consitency tool. It's a delayed 1 card cycle that quests for 1 and can trade if needed. In testing I found 4 rafiki to be too much as no one's running 1/3s
@@AlphosNZ no 1/3 but it can help clear Simba/Kida if you need to. Or do you just not care to do that since we’re also an aggro deck but with more removal tech
Awesome! I’m gonna try changing 2 Rafiki for the 2 Mal! You should give 1 of the 3 cost Genie a try tho! Our numbers are a little different cause I still have 2 rabbit with the 1 genie. But the draw and shuffling the Ursula song can be helpful. I’ve redrawn MTB from it and that really helped. Also the 3/5 body can be helpful.
This was a fantastic video, but I’d didn’t see you getting much value off of those goats. Did you consider looking at the 2 uninkable 3 quest Pinnochio for more early aggro?
Against Jafar you have to play first, they win the late-game. Make sure to bounce or banish any jafar/tink/robin they can shift onto and use ursula (2) to discard gys before they shift onto it. Kit is great for efficiently bouncing blue fairy/small tink and small robin
I did experiment with it, but it's less impactful than the other 1-drops especially going 2nd. And there's too many evasives and efficient removal that counters it
I've been playing a variant of this the past 3 days and I've lost like twice so far. I've found the Snake to be the weak point, and in most cases I should be inking that card rather than using it. Its like you are slowing your own tempo down by sending your cards back to hand. I didn't even use the Fox either. The game I lost, I was sending back cards to my hand over and over with Snake. I didn't even use Deceiver of All Ursula either, some of my characters are different to, but in general its the same concept.
I'd reccomend giving this variant a shot! The self-bounce should primarily just be used to protect your maleficents & merfolk from being traded into. Or to recycle other effects when you're low on cards.
Hi there. I am looking to build my first deck. I play MTG and love aggro so I think this is the one for me. However, I’m mainly a collector for Lorcana and don’t wish to buy the Ursula and want it to be a budget build. Could someone please suggest a replacement for Ursula? Thanks in advance :)
It's really strange how all these youtubers get either braindead opponents, opponents with bad luck and good luck themself on draws....it seems like an amazing deck but one bad starting hand and you're basically toast
It's felt pretty good into it so far, but I'm sure they could make card ajustments to counter. As long as you bounce their shift targets tink & robin hood it feels good
I'm surprised how good this deck really is. Thanks for sharing.
Quick question what would be a substitute for ursela divecer of all without affecting deck or is that card needed ?
definitely needed sorry
@@AlphosNZ would you consider this deck meta ?
@@manuelxm3162 The meta hasn't settled yet but right now I'd put this in Tier 1
Also, you can use Tinkerbell to give an opposing bodyguard evasive, so you can wreck the opponent's team with your nonevasive beaters

Been running this deck since your first profile! Emerald Amethyst till the death of me
thanks for sticking around!!
Love the video and deck been playing it on ladder and so far is pretty good 🤗🤗🤗

Not a fan of Mim-dragons as it's too slow. The pinocchios are to hedge against the aggro mirror.
Nice
Ursula in FotOS is going to be around for a loooooong time 💚💜
Especially when they print stronger songs. This card will sky rocket

It's definitely a consideration, goats are still needed for late game closers due to uninteractable lore.
Would be nice if you showed more games going second even if you end up losing the game. You only showed one game going second in this entire video
I will try my best to!
I only ended up getting that many games to show, I kept queuing into ruby/amethyst over and over.
@@AlphosNZshow that
I love this play style.

Would you change anything on the deck or keep as is ?
Nothing as of yet, just uploaded the video haha
Would need time to adapt to the meta

Hi, Ursula is a must!
@@larss0318 ah no worries. Thanks for reply!
You forgot to discard one of their songs at 34:10! lol
yup completely misclicked
How do you win against BlueSteel ? I'm like 20% winrate against this deck
Feel like you want more songs?
You didn't show a game against one of the current kings, green steel
Didn't queue into one all day during that recording session as no one was playing it i guess
Why no Bibbidi?
If you put 4 Madame Medusa in your deck, this deck is a joke
usually ruby has lost before it gets to turn 6
34 minutes in you didn’t discard one jump ahead with Ursula when you couldnhave

It's really hard to get a bad hand with this deck if you mulligan properly as it has such a low curve
What’s your thoughts on this deck vs the emerald/steel beast OTK deck?
It's felt pretty good into it so far, but I'm sure they could make card ajustments to counter. As long as you bounce their shift targets tink & robin hood it feels good
