Only just discovered The Thermals, sad they called it a day. Hopefully they will make a comeback at some point. I love crowds like this where a lot of people probably don't know many, if any of the songs and are just having a great time.

the thermals deserved a lot more recognition than they got, I found them out last year, and I've never regretted it, they're my most favorite band ever, it's a damn shame they didn't blow up

The first song of the set is the song after a pillar of salt on the album. Almost the same chords. Can't help but think that was a deliberate artistic choice.
