Bro, I really like your videos, but calling this the BEST sushi in Vegas is psychotic. Maybe best AYCE style, but the hyperbole is insane to make that claim with all the high end omakase in Vegas....
Hey 👋 I have watched all your videos and notice there's one great spot in chinatown you haven't visit yet. The place is called " Big Dan Shanxie Place" . I have only tried a handful of dishes so far but what I will highly recommend is their oil noodles( get it with tomato and eggs) and there cumin lamb burgers...both GREAT. Stop by soon👍👍😋😋
Just a warning, if you go somewhere that has a whole roasting lechon with the head still on, do not film the head. TH-cam is getting strict with that and will demonetize the video. A few other creators have mentioned it. Just want to give others a heads up in case they did not hear about it :) The food at this place looks freaking awesome.
Wow...good to know! We've not had a video get demonetized as of yet, but we've had a few which inexplicably received very few views and I've wondered if there was something within the video which TH-cam didn't like. I wish they were more transparent about such things. If I had a better idea of what they don't like I could adjust accordingly. Anyway, thank you very much for the 'heads' up...pun intended, 😁😁
While I’m not a huge sushi eater I would love the wings, ribs and the different types of shrimp dishes. It was an excellent price for ayce. Ty for another great review.😊
If I'm not mistaken, this is the sister property of Terence Wong's restaurant 'Zenshin' which we love (based at the South Point 🤔). Or once was? Though we've never been to Island Sushi, we will definitely give it a go. Thanks for the review 👏
Two questions, please. Based on the street address given at the beginning, isn't this restaurant in Henderson rather than Las Vegas. Also, you indicated that you were presenting the top-of-the-line AYCE menu; what is offered on that menu that is not included on the lesser-priced offering? - Thank you.
Yes, Henderson, but I consider Henderson and Summerlin as part of Las Vegas. As for the menu choices, it gets complicated (especially these sushi places) and we don't like to spend time trying to explain it. You should check out their menu online, they do try to lay it out, but again, it's somewhat difficult to follow, 😔. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@LetsEatVegas I realize you probably know this, but there IS a difference, of course. Summerlin is definitely a part of Las Vegas, but Henderson is a city of more than 300,000 people. I will acknowledge that I run across this situation quite a few times in TH-cam restaurant reviews, most often regarding the videos about the outstanding $100 Sunday brunch at Henderson's M Resort. What sometimes makes it difficult for out-of-town visitors is that they will assume a certain restaurant is in close proximity to their stay in the tourist corridor without realizing that it is actually off the beaten path. I hope you will take my comments in the constructive spirit with which I offer them; your wonderful videos are so filled with detailed descriptions and images of the food, that ancillary details about location in some cases, beyond street addresses, would further enhance your already established expertise. - Perphaps my pride in my adopted city of Henderson is showing a little too much - LOL!
This place was amazing! What's YOUR favorite sushi place? Write a comment and let us know, 😁
The omakase at Sushi Sasabune on King Street in Honolulu is quite good, but I suspect there's better in Vegas.
Darn, can't get to Honolulu for the foreseeable future, but I'll keep in mind. Thanks for the comment!!

Thanks for the tip! I've been to Big Dans several times and it's very good. We're definitely considering reviewing them, 😁

Hmmm, 🤔, I'm not sure about that...I'll have to look into this. Well, either way, the food is terrific and you're going to love it! 😋😋

I just CANNOT WITH YOUR OA commentary!
Glad you liked our video. Thanks for watching and commenting!
95% of this is not even sushi, it's gringo sushi. AYCE sushi is always sub par...
Always? Not always unless u go real cheap. You import your sushi rolls from Japan?
OK, Eeyore, lol. Anyway, the food (whether you want to call it sushi, gringo sushi, or other) was delicious.
