This turned out to be the last ever full time first grade game by the legendary Steve Rogers, and it was a pretty good one at that. While he might have looked 55, he was actually only 29 years old at the time. In terms of the game itself Dragons would have given themselves a better chance without all the foolish penalties.
I was at this game as a 9yr old. Brings back good memories ......... although they lost the gf that year. Parra will never have another era like they did back than unfortunately
